I don't know if that's true or not, but the University was not happy over the commercial they did nor were they happy with Fowler saying that he voted for Woodson for the Heisman hoping to cause a riot in trailer parks for all the hillbillies in Tennessee.

The commercial wasn't that bad. It was the one where the fat lady was in the elevator yelling for the pig called Rocky Top. It was actually pretty funny. Alot of people went crazy over it though. You can find it on You Tube.
ESPN also lost the set to Gameday in 98 when the Vols beat the Gators. Some fans climbed up on top of it and collapsed the rigging, taking the canopy and pieces of the set home as trophies. I don't think they got the final airing of interviews with Fowler, Herbstreit and Corso because of it. I'd dare say that had a lot to do with them not coming back as well.
Gameday was in Knoxville in '04 for the Auburn game...
Smarty and I went and had fun, wasn't much of a game though.
