Feeling old

Anybody else feeling old besides me? Here it is a new football season...didn't seem like a couple of months since the last one started. Seems the older you get, the quicker time passes. My mother always told me when I got older, time will just pass you on by. No more evident than when I look at my children...one already in high school. Seems like only yesterday I was changing his diapers.

Yeah Mik a few more aches and pains. But it goes with the aging i guess.
What i don't get yet always hear. It's from where you played sports.
How about the wear and tear from working so hard and just life itself. A son and now a grandson. 26 or so years in working and another 15 or 20 to go.

Two kids out of college and working, and then I'll be walking my "baby" daughter down the aisle in about 18 more days. She's almost 21!
There's not a day goes by that I don't look back and wonder where all the time went.

Time does indeed fly by as you get older. Sometimes it seems like I blink and two weeks have passed by.

What I want to know is, why are the same guys I was talking to at 1am still on here at 9?? I have a good excuse since I slept most of the day away yesterday and didn't feel the need for sleep last night.

My boat cramped, just that we take more tackle with us than the field at the Bassmaster Classic. Besides best I can recall our boats are now the same size. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

If we had boats based on the amount of tackle we take, both of us would have 27' pontoon boats.

And in the words of Roman Craig, what the hell are you going to do with a pontoon boat?

I tell ya what I do with the pontoon. I anchor it down and then come back to it after I get tired, tie my bass boat to it and lay back on those nice big comfy seats and sleep. Shoot last time we took it out we had 2 pontoons tied together and had the redneck yacht club going.

Tracker calls most of their pontoons Party Barge. They should make one with nothing but an open deck and call it an [censored] Barge.

I turned 30 and my back went out.

Got a question for somebody smarter than me. When you're an old foul dude, why does your hairline recede and your back hair thicken? Hope it's not just me!

Well, when the hairline recedes, it's got to have somewhere to go....down the back!

Makes sense to me. I wonder if there's a pill or something to take care of that.

Don't know about the back hair, but my hair, even at 41, still grows like a weed!

I'm 25 and my boyfriend finds grey and white hairs in my hair all the time. I don't know what it'll be like when I'm 30 and become old and "decrepit"

I thought hair worked like that guy on the cartoon, just yank the beard and the hair comes out the bottom. Mine ain't much different than when high school ended- 77. 'Cept for 15 or 20 gray ones. Part of the blond joke I guess.

I had a picture taken last Feb. at the Special Olympics Polar Plunge in VA Beach. I was dressed like an elf, mind you about pushing 6'4" and go 240. Didn't have a shirt on. I sent a picture to my brother and the only comment I got was, "Nice sweater!" There's comics all over the place.

Both knees really bad esp. with cooler or wet weather . Tendonitis in one elbow . Sciatic nerve giving me fits . I don't let all this crap keep me from being active though , I just have learned to deal w/ it . Heating pads , muscle rubs and Aleve are my friends . An occasional visit to the chiropractor helps to get the kinks out although he makes me snap , crackle and pop like Rice Krispies .

You know what , I was standing in my kitchen last Sat talking on the phone and one got me in the inside of my bicep . The little blaggerts are still coming in sporadically and dying on their own .

I am expert on bee removal,, ha,,, you must be a big target,, not to be confused with TARGET,,, get some of that FOAMING SPRAY,,,,,, better than that RAID stuff that is suppose to kill them dead......
