LOL I have no clue if any/many teams keep those types of stats long term
I know Zac Clifton has been a good punter for Kelly since he's been in high school.

I can see that you want to know if your brother is right or not but that is just not a stat that is kept by most teams, all they really care about is getting a decent punt off and stopping the return.

Couldn't really tell'ya 'bout the LPD, but probably the best punter to ever come out of the area was Randy Jenkins from Pennington (1976-1979). Great QB as well. Went on to play for Kentucky where he was the starting punter AND starting QB in the early 80's.
He also punted for the Cowboys.
Sam Byrd from the 91 Coeburn team was a very good punter, I have no idea what his average was but I will find out I have all the old stat sheets somewhere and will look it up.
Bird was still a good punter when he was coaching while I was there, I remember he used to have target practice before the games and he was always hitting somebody lol.

i do remember he seemed to always kick one up in the stands for the heck of it before games...
I believe Johnny McFall had the best punting average at Clintwood.
Clifton entered this year with a 41.5 avg for his career.

Yeah I guess your right, that kinda was a smarta$$ thing to say. I sincerely apologize and hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me for the rudeness I have showed. I could have gone about this in a different way and I do learn from my mistakes and next time I will handle situations like this differently.
