PV this year vs. Last year which team is better?

Disscussing this with people from PV has led me to seek others opinions. IMO neither team is better than the other by a lot, same players bascially. Minus 3 kids, and the other kids got older. To me playing their best this years team is better, more experienced. Last years team did have a better defense, which makes sense since that is where they lost the 3 players. Last years defense gave up 15 points per game so far this year the defense has given up 19 per game. The offense is not that much different eitherimo last year our offense put up 28 points per game this year our offense is putting up 30 points per game. I do think Norton, Seymour, BC, Wise, and Appy are better this year. Everyone else was probably better last year so how one could say one is greatly better than the other is beyond me.

I think their record speaks for itself. Last years was better.

Last year's team went 7-3 in the regular season. This team could end up with the same record.

Having a couple of solid leaders like Qualls and Lane are the biggest losses. Lane and Qualls were not the best players on the field but they were good leaders. This team lacks leadership and dicipline.

The 80s PV team that lost to Ervinton was better than this year's team.

I agree with greencrest. Losing those seniors from last year has really hurt this years team. They don't have a leader.

I agree that they dont have a true standout leader, but in the end the difference between the two teams is very little.

Yeah, just like the last umpteen times GC had beaten CW. What do the last 9 times have to do with this one? Appy will not lose another game until the playoffs.

Oh i agree, they will probably thump GC. But, I don;t think they got nothing for PV.

Honestly, I have to hear Appy talk about PV 5 days a week man, and i very rarely say a word about it. I was just feeling like spouting off, lol.

They've improved more than any team in the region since week 1. PV is going to struggle to stop their running game. They can hold the ball for 7-10 minutes on drives, they don't commit turnovers, and they're physical. I don't see PV beating them.

Go back to the 2002 season.
Biggest thing. They finally changed some players and their offense some.

Yeah, I think it will be a good game. And I do think PV can stop Appys running game. PV has come a long ways this year too. PV by 2 TD's.
