what was the hit of the week.... i missed it?

i missed it to but this should have been the hit of the week when Pound played GC..

i know Murphy hit Tihlee so hard it was aweful,

someone said that was going to be H.O.T.W, but since he seriously injured him, they couldn't show it

Spurlock threw a pretty good hit tonight as well on the INT TD return.

they always show it before "Touchdown Friday Night"

i wasn't home when they showed it, just wondering ...

yeah that was pretty hard hit as well,

but when Murphy hit Tihlee, that was the hardest hit i've seen in a LONGGG time

Channel 5 showed it. Not that impressive on the film. It seemed to catch him at a vulnerable angle that injured him was all. I didn't know which channel you were talking about.

speaking of which, anybody have status on Tihlee, last i heard, concussion, and possible cracked sternum??...who knows

Probably not. There was no sound or anything.

Someone said in another post he has a mild concussion.

that's good, at least it wasn't the big concussion deal, i was worried about the kid, when he got hit, he just went limp, like a ragdoll....

It was somebody from Tn High. Really wasn't that big of a hit in my opinion.

TD Fri Night Highlights.
There is a few highlights. Not sure what all games they have.

Murphys hit was one of the hardest I've ever seen in a high school game. I mean, it was a devastating blow. Sounded like a shotgun went off, all way across the field. Anderson went limp. I hope the kid is allright.

Oh yea Murphy's hit was the hit of the year! And the main thing is... It was a clean hit! Hope the kid is all right, nobody ever wants to see somebody go down like that. Very scary for a minute.

he should be proud of that hit, not that he hurt that kid, but since it was an excellent hit ....you could see that play devolping when it started

Gah great pic and yea it was a hard hit.

if you get a close look at the replay, #2 was hit from behind by a gate city player, #2 was in the air and had no control over the hit, right place / right time though.
