This is by far the most exciting last couple of weeks of the regular seson in this area that I can remember. How does everyone think its going to pan out?
Will either Clintwood or GC do the unthinkable and beat Burton and force themselves into the playoffs?
Will it come down to both Clintwood and GC finishing the year undefeated?
Will Pound or Appalachia ruin the Clinwood and GC season?
So many questions to be answered in just 2 weeks.
GC loses to JIB and Appy.
PV loses to Appy and beats Coeburn.
CW loses to JIB and beats Pound.

How good is Appy? I think there styal of play can give burtion a tough time IF they can stop the Jet sweep
Yep. The second game they play will be a much better game than the first. Right now, I'd say that one's a tossup.
Yep I know Appy had a few out that game and it was before they went back to the "T" right now they look like the best 2 teams in the LPD but Appy will have all they want the next 2 weeks with GC and PV

It should be a good game if it works out that way, but I also remember last year everyone saying the exact same thing about how much better Appy got throughout the year and would give Burton a tough time in the postseason and the result of that game wasn't as close as the experts thought. I don't know personally how much better Appy has gotten since Burton last played them but you never know, that is why they play the games.
I argee Appy has 2 tough tests to end the season (As does Norton)
I didn't see that much improvement in Appy last year. They improved but it was nothing drastic. This year, after the fist two weeks of the season, they are a completely different team. I still think that JIB wins a rematch 9x's out of 10, but this time Appy will be competitive. Mostly because they'll try to keep the ball out of JIB's hands and shorten the game.

I just cant imagine a Colboro coached team finishing the season with 4 consecutive losses. Im not saying that GC will beat either Burton or Appy but I just see them pulling something out of their hat here at the end.
With their fans being so bandwagonish, I can see Gate City losing out. That program is on a steep decline. I think Appy wins the state this year, if the coaches can keep their heads out in the open air. They really impressed me as did Haysi. Norton has tons of speed, but so does the majority of the teams upstate. Clintwood wins out, plays Haysi and wins, then defeats PV in Region D final. I've been shocked that the Colobro must go talk hasn't started like it did in the past.
It also wouldn't surprise me to see GC get a win in one of those 2 last games

im not about to talk trash on here....thats pointless....but i do believe the second time we play we be a lot different from last year....for some reason our season had a slow start...rye cove almost upset us the first game.....but we really came together at clintwood....and i honestly believe it will be a hard fought battle....and it will come down to whoever executes and whoever wants it more...
