Gino Torreta
Chris Weinke, Gino Torreta, Danny Weurfull, Jason White
Eric Crouch?
I can agree with all of those... i'll add Eric Crouch to the list as well..
i remember he got signed by the Rams as a free agent, and then retired? or something...
Heisman trophy seems to be a meaningless trophy

I counted 14 pro-bowlers, so its not as bad as it looks.
and desmond howard, a super bowl MVP.
I don't care what you or mega say, Woodson has never impressed me. I wouldn't consider Howard great either because he returned a ko in the superbowl. I'd say he's a bust for the most part.
What you mentioned is the truth though. It's either you're solid/really good or you're a disaster. Who are you counting as 14 pro bowlers from 80-01? I'm not sure on many of those. I could see Allen, Jackson, Brown, Sanders, George, Woodson, Williams, Walker.
I saw that Rodgers was his first year as well. Considering he only played about 3-4 years, you'd have to consider that a bust for the most part as well.
Rogers had several good years. With the Saints and later with the Redskins if memory serves.
He played 7. The only "great year" was his first.

I wouldn't call those number flopworthy though.
7,176 yards with 54 touchdowns in a mere seven seasons.
I mean thats averaging 1000 yards a year and almost 8 TD a year. Maybe not God's gift to football but multiple pro bowls and decent numbers. I don't think he's on the list with some of the previous mentioned company.

I think it was just one. With the Heisman, the award for the best football player in D1 college football, you'd expect more. That award has been an albatross hanging around players necks instead of something good.

And these guys are playing against defenses that are twice what they were then.
In his first season, Rogers lead the league in rushing with 1,647 yards, which set a high for rookies at that time. He was selected as the NFL Rookie of the Year for 1981 and earned a trip to the Pro Bowl.

who did Rogers have with him? On the Skins team, he had a bit more around him but he was pretty beaten up (featured player on bad teams)

They didn't win the Heisman, so he was supposed to be good/greater.
I think it all depends on what we're saying a "flop" is. If it's someone who was a great college player but didn't live up to what they were in college, then guys like Crouch, Weinke, White, Howard, Woodson, Toretta, etc. all deserve that honor.
If we're talking more about guys who came out of college and we all projected them to be good pros, then guys like Salaam, Ware, Detmer, etc. all fit that bill.
It's a matter of potential vs. reality OR college success not equaling pro success. It all depends.
