This whole mess

This mess that seems it will never end, well here's my .02 since my life is so important to everyone. I would like to apolgize to CentinalDawg, I crossed the line on the comment with him I should've responed but not in that way. WIth Greencrest, at least I know who he is but I honestly think your [censored], calling someone a hypocrite on a message board when you could just as easy do it to their face. THEBEAST, I have no clue who you are but you seem to be very interested in my personal life so if your good with numbers as well all know tax season is coming up and I'm hoping you'll do my taxes for free. You seem to care as much about it as I do. To eveyrone else, sorry you had to read through all this nonsense on here, hopefully it will stop one day but I woulnd't count on it any time.

It is mess and I never intended it to go beyond a political debate. I should have reworded some things and straightened some things out before they got out of hand, thats my mistake and I was wrong. Yes I know you, and I do think your're a good guy, I NEVER EVER meant to get personal. You may or may not beleive that, it doesnt really matter. But I think I went to far in trying prove a point that in reality is pointless, if that sounds right.

Anyway, I never meant for feelings to get hurt, I never wanted anybody's name drug in the mud, and I certainly dont want to lose a friend. I was just in an arguing mood and the board for me lately had been mind numbingly boring. I apologize for going to far. I really didnt think that it would culminate into something so serious.

Folks, this is the old farts forum, where we are all supposed to be mature. I know how it is though. I was about to administer some serious thump therapy on someone here awhile back ago, but I learned that really it doesn't matter. People aren't going to change when they see no wrong. Here's hoping we can get back to the business of agreeing to disagree, but leaving the personal out.

My Current debt situation is that I am absolutely debt free own my house, 2 trucks,a car, boat, and have finally paid off my student loan. So figure that out.

In the other thread you said, I'm a Democrat so regardless of what I say or do I'm wrong. I did not say this I said, Typical democratic double talk I'm right your wrong, I'm even right when you prove me wrong. Nowhere does this say that dems are allways wrong they just can't accept when they are.

And my last comment was, I really had no horse in this but I haven't had a good argument with anyone in a while and was feeling froggy, and this was just to tempting to pass up. Thus implying that I was just having fun and doing at your expense, you can go ahead and relax it was al in jest.

hm..... i always thought it was the republicans who were snotty and arrogant, thought their [censored] didnt stink, always were right on political decisions of all kinds, had to constantly reinforce their beliefs on everyone, calling sociey immoral based on their beliefs, not the belief of the whole nation, and took action based on a belief that is not held by everyone in said democracy.

Think that goes for just about everyone in politics....for good or bad you DO NOT want the Goverment to only do what EVERYONE agrees with......SOme times the RIGHT thing is not the most popular thing (Look no further than integration for a prime example)

It is human nature to think that Side A is right and if side B were not a bunch of goofballs they would see it as well. That however is NOT the case and the Truth is somewhere in the middle

but what if its a decision purely based on a belief that has never been proved true, and affects those who do not practice said religion?

Not 100% I follow you... Are we talking Stemcells, Abortion, Cloneing? (Not sure what else would have a great deal to do with religion directly) and TYhose issues may never be resolved due to the fact that both partys like to whip it out to fire up there base (Dang if we are going to do this can we move it to the Political forum?)
