TBD. V knows where he wants to play just a matter of setting it up. Game will likely be next Sat. night.

Its gonna be at Science Hill or in Morristown
i heard the game is gonna be played friday nite at casltewood,that's what a coach told me.
It will be played at Va High Saturday...
Hopefully a double header with GC boys and Girls games played Saturday...regardless...GC's boys and girls WILL play at Va High.

Unless you talked to Coach V yourself then I'd bet Castlewood would be the venue.

I would be willing to bet they Coach C & Coach V will or have worked out the details together. I would hope for a double header if possible. But we all know that the VHSL is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$, so they will more than likely be on different days or mess things up somehow.
I don't see how it can be on different days because the games have to be played Friday or Saturday night and it can't be at Va. High Friday because Va. High is playing at John Battle.

why is va. high playing john battle this late in the season? va high is AA and john battle is single A. maybe i'm missing something here.
Va High is playing Brookville at John Battle in the quarterfinals of the State tournament.

The game will actually be played saturday night at castlewood. i talked to coach v this afternoon and that is where he wants to play, he also said that it will be a double header at castlewood so the girls will be there too.
That works for me...I was getting my info. from both AD's. If Coach Scott V. wants to play there and the AD's agree I reckin that's where it will be.

Well no matter where the game is played it will be an exciting one. Both teams press the entire game and rely on getting turnovers. It will be interesting to see how Gate City reacts to the speed of GW's guards and fowards. If GW's guards are hitting their 3's to go along with Tenis Simon's usual 20 points then I think GW will take it. On the other hand, GW might play tight like they usually do when they get to regions and Gate City could take advantage of it. I'll go with GW by 10.

It seems like the CW coach, besides being an excellant coach is also a good person.
He's a preacher, so he ought to be a good person.
You can say what you want about the fans... but the coaching staff at Castlewood is nothing but a class act.
