Pretty interesting if you have NFL network i would check it out..
I have been watching some of it throughout the day. Robert Meachem ran a good 40 (4.36) and that will probably improve his stock. Calvin Johnson ran a 4.35 in someone else shoes. All I got to see today was wide receivers.
I saw that Brady Quinn ripped off 24 bench press reps.. thats the only thing he is participating in though
Why is he not participating in anything. If anything he needs to prove himself at the combine.
He is waiting for Notre Dame's pro day, he and Jamarcus Russell are both waiting for their respective teams pro days..
right now Drew Stanton is looking to be the most impress Qb, Chris Leak also has got some good reviews
you see these 40 times and then you think of these crazy kids who get on here and say they run these things.
Adrian Peterson ran a 4.5/4.6
I figured he was a bit faster than that
Meachem's 40 time really helped his stock although his verticle didn't help him so much
What was Calvin Johnson's vertical, do you remember? I wanted to see that but didn't see it
i thought peterson ran a high 4.3 in the combine
I would like to see some of these kids run their 40's at a camp or a combine and see what they would run. It is a lot different than your coach holding a stop watch.
Peterson ran a 4.38, he was the 2nd fastest running back there. Lynch was in the 4.5 area.
Greg Olsen ran a 4.45 which was one of the best times for a TE in the history of the combine.
The combine still uses stop watches but you cant get any kind of rolling start. You have to be in a still position for at least a half second.
I didn't know they still used stop watches in the combine.
I thought they used electronic timing, and I thought they had some sort of motion sensing device that started the clock on the first movement.
That sounds more like it to me.....That is what I was thinking.
they had a great segment on sportscenter about how important the 40 is at the combine.
hmm maybe I was looking at lynch, thats more like a peterson time though
David Clowney ran a 4.36...could move him into the first day
Its hand timed, all the coaches sitting in the stands have pretty precise instruments to allow them to get the 10 time, the 20 time, and the 40 time. Its a little more extravigant than a stop watch but its basically a stop watch. Mike Mayock had a segment on it. Thats one reason they never have offical times right away.
guys, if Rich Kotite says it, its the truth, i promise
i want to know how everyone did, asap.
i mean now, richie boy.
did calvin hit 42+"?
i want all big names' numbers
Here is what I got on some of the FSU players in the Combine.

I heard Joe Thomas was incredible. He ran his 40 in under 5.0 everytime. They said he did 225, 27 times. 6'7" 315lbs. Joe Schadd said he assured himself of a top 3 pick.
