all state basketball

i have a question.i did not see any awards for best ball handler of the year.the way a lot of people were saying adkins deserved to be player of the year in the lpd. maybe the lpd award should be called ball handler of the year.glad to see those at the state level know a little basketball because hackney was 1st team all state.i am still trying to find adkins name on the honorable mention list but cannot find it.i know what the problem is wise county did not get to vote ha ha ... Did you ever think that if Adkins had played in at least a regional tournament that he probably would have got enough exposure to be all state. Outside of him, Coeburn isnt so good, not his fault.

Where is Anderson in the All-state list? I read so many saying he should have been POY. Not to mention there was all the attention he got at state, I mean lord if anybody should be there....

ADKINS=POY and no matter how much bitching you do it's not going to change a [censored] thing and who [censored] cares how many [censored] games coeburn won is it the team with th most wins player of the year award NO it's Player of the Year

if adkins was so good why did he not even make honorable mention? you said wins do not matter. i guess the voters feel sorry for coeburn since they cannot even compete in the Lousy Pine District.sympathy votes is all he got and you know it. at least brad robbins made honorable mention 2 years ago when jesse mcmurray was robbed also.the state voters must think the southwest virginia voters are idiots and do not know anything about quality players like yourself.

The Anderson guy from GC was also pretty good, but he isn't all state either.

If I had to guess why Adkins and Anderson aren't all state, I would say it's because they are sophmores.

Even though each time adkins went against GC, he got shut down but Hackney still gets snubbed for POY in the LPD...what else is new...adkins was shut down against GC both times

well it doesn't matter now...all i can say is that i'm glad GC is out of the LPD next year...maybe adkins can actually get the POY next year...i'd take 1st team all state over LPD POY anyway

Adkins wasn't a very good player to begin with. It's not hard to average 16 when your shooting the ball 30 to 40 times a game some of them are gonna fall. Hackney took far less shots, but they were smart shots unlike adkins run down the floor and heave the ball up hoping it will go in. Adkins also WALKS alot

i just want to say, that he was right in a sense on that, most supplements allow more blood to flow into the muscle (also includes water there mister intellectual) to let the nutrients get in. so although the water doesnt make the muscle grow, it helps promote the muscle growth by saturating the tissue with nutrient rich blood.
