My idea is about a monkey (with \|\I\|\JA powers) from another planet in the distant future who controls the destiny of three individuals. These three are mutually exclusive, in the sense that they are all crazy, but together they can create miracles. The monkey knows this, but the only way to control the past is to send back a sword, which will let all these three ppl kill eachother to reincarnate to the monkey.
Do you think it's a good idea? Pls share your opinions.
Not at all

So far, it's barely a kernel of an idea. Try writing it out as a treatment before asking for serious comments/criticism. (and DON'T go overboard too soon & try writing in script form)
Sounds like an episode of 'Power Rangers'.
Thx guys! I'm glad you like it. I've gotten started with it now. Your support is inspiring and motivating!! gtg, take care!
LOL
Someone's taking the piss!
Lots of luck ninja monkey.
your idea is almost as nuts as the non-plot for "versus"
From the little bit said, sounds like Sid & Marty Krofft attempting to rewrite 12-MONKEYS crossed with TMNT (while passing their bong back & forth). Sounds stupid, but with some guidance, a time-travel storyline doesn't have to be a total joke. Just make some characters a bit more realistic/believable, realize the limits of SFX you'll have in the budget, and dump the Planet Of The Apes monkey-from-the-future cliche.
"MONKEY"

Only, monkey was good.
Btw did any of you know that the TV series is based on a Japanese legend that is actually far more comic than its adaption.
I know exactly what you mean. Hotherhave; it is not a plot from the monkey, of, which, REINCARNACTION. Taken ungranted the theoretical time consumption of fuungae time, the future is not within reach of relativistic physiotheory. The essence of hallucinatory commonality of the averege non creativistic being gathers the plot in experiential holloywood-related copybites. In other words, you have notion of the platonic idea-based script method.
Somebody must be VERY bored.

Anyone remember that Robert Rodriguez guy who had no grasp of grammer? Anyone see the similarities with this monkey guy?
He's not being serious. He's just trying to get a reaction. I reckon he's just coming up with the dumbest ideas he possibly can, just to see what you'll say.
If he is being serious, then english is not his first language. Don't ninjas locate in asia mainly?
Of course he's not serious. If he were, the above pretentious post would have made some type of sense if broken-down, rather than stringing-along a bunch of random 5-syllable words in an attempt to sound intelligent & confuse simultaneously.
GS's last comment about ninjas being in Asia has me stumped though. There were aliens ID-4, but they didn't go into outer space to find them.
Even if words isn't the strong side of film makers it's wery impotent that we are still frendz ont encurry eechother in life. Just like you try to understand me I want everybody to have teh same experienth.
Why is there so many people who hate Rodriguez on the boards. Surely it is he who has made it possible for so many guaerilla filmmakers to pave the way for themselves.
Generic Skinhead was actually talking about a poster a while ago who only talked about how much he loved Robert Rodriguez.
I don't think anyone really hates Rodriguez, in my eyes he's just the epitome of Hollywood director, that's why he had so much success. When he made El Mariachi it was clear that he could direct visually but I don't think he has any talent for directing performance. Hollywood wanted to mould him into the new Michael Bay. Fair enough if all he wants to direct are action movies with no substance, but I don't think he'll ever make a really fantastic stoy and performance based film. But who knows? I will admit to Rodriguez being a massive inspiration to me when I first knew I wanted to become a director, though.

But I did like that short he did, "Bedheads"- thought it was pretty clever.
And is this not his forum?
I wonder if he ever checks it...

But, the only point he seems to be making is that he really need to get out more.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Do you mean, is this Robert Rodriguez's forum? If so, WOW, but no, it was originally started by a mystery benefactor and philanthropist known only as Dale. He seems to have disapeared a good year or two ago.Quote:
