Random thoughts

So I just get back from Charlottesville where I had a great time, went to my first real college baseball game where the canes lost to UVA. Obviously that was going to happen because my jinx factor was present, but thats for another conversation. Get rid of the aluminum bats, seriously Id be more afraid to play college baseball than college football.

I fire up the computer and get on here and it looks like Katrina hit the place. I havent even began to wade through these threads and probably wont. All I know is Biggin should be allowed to stab the kids that coughed on Indian Dads food and Hugh Godsey could potentially have a n a l with Ironlung and NotsosilentBob, but I digress.

My mom gets a phone call from my sister. My nephew has been in trouble at school and they have some sort of policy where if you get in trouble at school, you dont get to play in games. My sister didnt even know that her boy had been in trouble because they never notified her(thats twice now) and then the teachers threw a temper tantrum because he got to play over the weekend on a travel team that has nothing to do with norton little league and where a person paid with his own money to get the kids in the event. THEN apparently during that time, my sister in law who is a teacher comes over to the classroom(which isnt her classroom) and makes a scene and embarrasses the crap out of my nephew in front of everyone after hes already served his ISS time. My sister is pissed at her because shes not his teacher and my brother is likely going to be stuck in between this. Hes a teacher as well so either way he goes, hes probably going to end up involved. My sister is obviously most upset that her son got into trouble and she definetely agrees with the policy for her son not to play but shes really upset that she was never informed of her kid getting into trouble and shes really upset that someone thats not his teacher nor a teacher in his grade makes a scene as my sister in law did. Im not sure why my sister in law is the way she is but shes really outspoken and shes never made any attempt to be a part of my nephews life. My brother and I were always at his games before he got married but now they never come, its usually just me.

I know the kid has gotten into trouble a few times, maybe more, but he told my mom tonight that he hates my sister in law and he was balling his eyes out. He doesnt even wanna go back to school anymore. Not taking anyones side, Im just staying out of it. My sister obviously needs to discipline him more. Hes not exactly running around Lil Mexico causing anarchy or anything but hes at that age where hes so energetic and just cant help himself. Theyve taken everything away from him and spanked him but this time I just feel that my sister in law made the situation alot worse. In this PC world, I usually feel an arse whoopin is the best punishment but the kid really could use some positive reinforcement here. I know it wont be the first or last time he will ever get in trouble but the kid is destined for failure if he thinks everyone(even in his family) is against him.

Id like to congratulate Dr Coach aka VTgal for getting engaged.

And I know Smarty aka Gator Girl has a wedding coming up to lpdblue. Right now Im looking like Jarred Lorenzen so hopefully I can lose some weight so I dont have to let the suit out and make it to your all's wedding.

Dude Ive had 2 jobs since Ive been posting on the forum in probably 5 years or so. I went to charlottesville to hang out and watch some baseball games and see friends at uva. It has nothing to do with work, school, or anything related. Why say you like me? Why do I care if you like me. This was a positive post and this is 2 threads where you have tried to start some drama. There is enough of that going on, on here so why kill the thread. Just walk away and go do something else.

He did a great job with the engagement and picking out the ring. I was definitely surprised.

That sucks about your nephew Mega. The travel team has nothing to do with the school so I don't see why it's anyone's business at the school if he played. Maybe you could steal him for a day soon and just hang with him. It would probably mean more to him than you'd know...

My thoughts exactly babe, I am going to go shoot ball with him one day this week when he doesnt have baseball practice. Maybe have a little talk about him gettin' in trouble at school but for the most part, just get everything else off his mind.
