Grades!

Just heard from D.J. and he told me his mid-term grades.
1 B in composition, and 5 A's so far this semester. Pretty good for the little fart, ain't it!

Heck Yeah! Good deal. Glad to see the lil sprout is handling his academics at Berea.

He is a music education major.....He is taking your basic general studies courses with piano keyboarding, and music theory/history.

I think he must be smarter than his old man. Just kidding! I know you are proud of him. He is a nice young man.

on a related note...

i had been studying for a logic exam for a week this past week, on my last test i received a 110/150...which, to me, meant it was around a 69-70 which isn't exactly what i'm shootin for...so i go into the exam and i talk to my TA and i mention i have to do well on this test b/c i need at least a B in the class to have a good GPA and the Dean's list and all that, but that i did horrible on the last test...she looks at me a lil funny and says, "ummm...you know you did pretty good pn the last exam right?" i said "no i got 110 out of 150"...she laughed a little and said "no, the 50 points are extra credit"

so i felt dumb and realized i got a 110 on the exam...which, if im gonna be surprised, im glad it's like that instead of the other way around...but man i felt dumb
