I know I don't post much anymore but I just wanted to let you guys know that my wife and I found out this past Wednesday that we are having a baby boy. I have been on cloud 9 ever since we found out. This is our first child and it is a very exciting time here in the Hughes household. We bought our first house this past weekend also, so it's been pretty hectic down here in Athens!

Congratulations. I am a little jealous though. I wanted a boy but I am very thankful for my little girl and that she was healthy. GOOD LUCK and right now get as much sleep as possible, you are going to need it.

Congrats!! Little boys run their dads crazy, but it's all worth it. I had to take today off to take my youngest to his new school's kindergarten orientation. It warmed my heart when all the other teacher's told me that they knew he was my son, without me even being there. I wish you and your wife all the best.

Wonderful advice!! I don't remember the first month from either of my kids. Feed, try to burp, change diapers. That's all I did. Made me feel like a bona fide man when the black ladies at school acted shocked that a man was doing all that. Enjoy the experience. It will change your life. I hear you there amigo. My best friend told me that the first time he saw me, I was at a baseball game with my littlest on my shoulder (was about 6mos) and my eldest (was a little over 2) holding my hand, diaper bag in tow on the other shoulder, walking up the steps at Shupe Field, and he thought "that's cool as it gets". Congrats on the wonderful news. YES-get plenty of sleep now, and prepare for a different life (all very well worth it)
