Who will win the softball game between Coeburn and Gate City tonight?
IMO... I think GC will win.. but I've been wrong before, haha.

I hope you are right.. that would be better for us but If the light girls is on... they will have a tough time. Gate City clearly has the better bats.... but Coeburn is tougher than what you think. YOu would not think that pitching makes that big of a difference but it does.
I agree, pitching makes a huge difference.. but last time the Light girl had a severe case of nerves and couldn't overcome it. GC is intimidating, especially with those girls that hit homeruns all the time. Last time they hit two homeruns off the Coeburn pitcher.

Yes they can be.... but like I said if the Pitcher for Coeburn is on she is hard to beat though... Coeburn if you are reading this keep the ballhigh and outside... [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif[/img]
It will come down as to wheather our Pitcher is on or not..I hope she don't get nervous like last time..But she is only 15. I just pray no one gets hurt with those hard hit balls..and if we win great and if we don't there's always the next ball game..All of our girls can hit and if they could come through all in one ballgame we will be okay..It is just a ballgame..

I pray that also. But respectfully I do not agree that all the Coeburn girls can hit... only 2 of them are consistent hitters.. there is a difference in hitting in practice and hitting in a game.Yes though you are right it is just a game.
I did not mean they were a powerhouse at hitting...we know better..but if they would all do good in just one ballgame it would be different for us..ALL at once...They are not consistent and I did not mean it that way..

haha.. i think the same thing could be said for PV.. If they could stop making errors and missing pop ups they could really be an awesome team that would be hard to beat. PV beats their self most of the time.

PV does not have a lot of errors.... also the pitching is not giving up 2 runs a game... we are just not hitting the ball... check this out.. PV had 8 hits and Norton has 2 hits and wins 2 to 1

anybody heard what the score is right now?
Talk to someone who is suppose to be at the game just a few minutes ago and they said it was 1 to 1 in eighth inning.

Errors killed the Lady Blue Knights, but we are still proud of them, they have done better than most people thought they would have done this far
any one know the boys score??? and im glad to hear the girls gave such a great fight they will be a force for the next couple of years
Both teams played with heart and desire.....it was a great, great ballgame.....all we could ask for, all runs (both teams) were unearned, hopefully we will see them again in the tournament....we proved today we are for "Real"

I hate that... I just know if Coeburn does everything right they win the game. Looks like Gate City is coming on strong... Look out.
