Work Week!

4 day work week this week, followed by 4 days off (only working some for the paper those days)!

Well this may help you feel better: I've gone 144 days without a day off, and I still have to work some during my 4 days off! And then I have 37 more days until my next day off. I'm pretty sure the_alienist is in the same boat.

Why 4 days off, I thought only Monday was a holiday?

I also nabbed Friday as one of my vacation days. Then I asked for the weekend off at the hospital, and the insurance office is closed Monday. That just leaves work for the paper, which isnt the same as getting up early and going to an office staring at a computer. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

I get to attend a business meeting Tuesday when I am normally off, but get Wednesday off instead. I vacated out Thursday, get off Saturday, then again Monday for Memorial Day, Tuesday, and took off next Friday, and Sunday for a 3 day weekend. It looks nice only really working 5 of the next 14 days.

Can't beat that!

True enough. I may try to take Friday myself. The other in my department is off for vacation the week of June 4 thru 9 (or 3 thru 8, or whatever that week is), so I may need to charge up

Of course if I take Friday, I got about a zillion things to try and do over that 4 days

I'm so far behind I've about caught back up with myself

I got 6 full days. lol

OK, I no longer feel bad, that is a lot of work in a row. Slow down or it is gonna kill ya.

It could be worse. I could not have a job at all!

I work 4 day weeks pretty much all summer. Use to get 4 months off every summer. I miss that.

I just spend the time with my antiques business though, so I'm still working, just doing something I like.

Same here, I don't want to get to much stuff piled in the house though.

I got off Thursday afternoon and don't go back until Tuesday morning. Feels good.

Only worked a couple of hours this evening, and will work about 4 or 5 tomorrow.
So far I haven't been called to do anything Sunday or Monday [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]
(But then again I need the cash now!)
