That is the funniest thing I have ever seen in a baseball game. Think he was pissed at the umpires??
Me and my husband watched last night on tv several fights that broke out during a baseball game. I think one was between a pitcher and the catcher, don't know which teams they played on though. The catcher ended up with 2 black eyes, and a busted lip that required stitches.
I can't believe that these guys get that heated, enough to knock someone's head off.
That was the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs game. It was the Cubs pitcher and catcher that got into the fight.
The highlight was the manager drawing the enlarged home plate in the dirt around the actual home plate.

From the looks of it the Pitcher did all the fighting. When these fights break out are there even a punishment for it?
I think it happened right after the game was over, in that case, I would venture to say that it would be a private matter for the club to handle, but I could be wrong about it.
It was right after Zambrano got racked for about 5 or 6 runs in the 5th inning. Both got fined but neither got suspended. Michael Barrett ended up getting 6 stitches in his lip I beleive.
LOL that was a funny clip. Add a little more strut to his step a few middle fingers flying here and there and toss him a couple of beers to smash together and it would kinda look like Stone Cold Steve Austin going off on the Ump haha.

it was close......but i think the guy from last year who dove head first into 2nd base may get the nod
that guy was hysterical
If I was a betting man, I would bet that it was stagged to draw publicity.
It looked like it could have been staged, but man was that awesome.
3 game suspension
Funny part is Sweet Lou got 4 games for his yelling at the Ump, and this guy got 3 games for his insane display of showmanship.
