That was hilarious, expecially considering just minutes before he was saying a nice prayer with his crew.
What isn't funny is the tremendous amount of commercials TNT throws in there.
3 laps racing, 5 minutes of commercials.
Yeah, I [censored] hate TNT
I was about to start a new post regarding how much TNT abused the commercials. I literally was sick of the race. Not only do they run too many commercials, they have no "cut-a-way" car, no Crank it up, or no Boogity, boogity, boogity. Even if you don't like DW, he brings more to the analist booth than Wally Dallenback! TNT must GO!

They do have a cut away car, saw it yesterday when they were comparing today's car to Benny Parsons old car from 1956, they just don't go to it much. And I'll take Wally over Waltrip anyday.
Also have to mention that the 24 and 48 crew chiefs should be gone for at least 10 races and fines of points and money 1.5 to 2 times more than what Jr got at Darlington. Why you ask Jr's infraction was to use a brace that was given to them by Nascar during testing and they were never told that they couldn't use them even Nascar said it is not intentional to gain an advantage but they were being penalized as they were to set the precedent. The 24 and 48 INTENTIONALLY modified the body to gain an advantage and as such the penalty should be worse for INTENTIONALLY going against the rules when Nascar had made it very clear that they are not to go into greay areas and make any changes at all to the car. I would be willing to bet anything that they will give the same penalty or less and have some BS excuse for doing so since it involves these 2 cars.
In my opinion, if they want to make penalties truly penalize teams, you penalize money, set out crew chiefs, like their doing but make a change to the point infraction. Set up so many points for the penalty, and then enforce 75% of them at the time of the enfraction and the other 25% at the beginning of the Chase. That would make a bigger impact IMO.
They will get fined money and points, neither will hurt Gordon very much seeing as he has a huge points lead and is the all time leader in money won. However Letarte being suspended will hurt quite a bit.
this just in............neckcar still sucks
I bet the Beast is right, they won't hurt the poster boys....Nascar hates Jr cause he is bigger than the sport its self...They will hardly hurt Johnson and Gordon
The thing is, Johnson should be hit harder than Gordon. Johnson has been caught more than once trying to do a little here and there. Knaus should be stuck at home for 10 races.
If they really want to make an impact with penalties, take the driver out of the car for a few races or suspend the whole team for a race or two, see what happens when the car isn't even at the track and sponsors start raising hell.
neckcar hilarity would be guys actually having to do something other than turn left
They were at a road course this past week buddy, so it actually had 9 right turns. Bet you couldn't drive them too well though.
right turns they make at 35-40 mph
im not impressed.......i do more than that driving to work everyday
I guess your running tires with no tread, coming into the turn at 100+ miles an hour. Heck you couldn't handle the roads here in SWVA with your Prius much less Sonoma in a stock car.
I would venture to say you would react well to Bristol for 500 laps, or Daytona either.
Surley you don't think the great BlueWahoo would talk trash about something he couldn't do himself do you????
The only reason he don't like Nascar is he spent his whole Memorial Day vacation on Lake Norman looking at all the multi-million dollar homes that he will never be able to afford and that 80% of them belong to drivers or someone related to Nascar.
Petty's comment on his 'comment'...
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Petty comments about slip of cuss word: TNT's Kyle Petty raced Sunday in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 even as he served an on-air analyst. When he got in an accident on the first lap that also involved Matt Kenseth and Marc Goossens, viewers saw a replay in which the driver/analyst seemed to yell out an expletive "? although TNT, during the race, said it wasn't sure it came from Petty rather than from mikes in other drivers' cars. But Petty wants it clear it was his profanity: "I'm sorry it got as far as everyone's living room. But when an incident happens that early in the race and it's unexpected, what I said pretty much described it."(USA Today)(6-29-2007)</div></div>
