It's just the qbs. If you have the headsets in the helmets to communicate with the sidelines, you have a sticker on your helmet.
Well, I had no idea. I was wondering, looks a bit foolish.

what if you have a QB that also plays WR, like a Kordell Stewart could? does he have to use 2 different helments I would assume
He has to use a different helmet or come off the field.
One would think that the super fashion conscious NFL would have done something besides a frigging green dot on the helmet.
Would a Marvin the Martian style with 2 big antennas sticking out of the top be better?..lol

But, if they do that then everyone has to have safety goggles or they'll get their eyes put out.
They should just go back to leather helmets.

On a serious note, I'm surprised that more players aren't killed on the field. The Buffalo TE that got injured today being a perfect example.
There are some serious hits week in and week out...but that's the nature of the game. I love hard hits but I hate to see folks get badly hurt.
That hit Tomlinson put on one of the Bears during his TD run was a good one.

That was reported during the Fox post-game show. He dropped like a rotten sack of bananas.
The guy from UT in the closing minutes against Cal hit the ground like he was shot...layed there for 10 minutes, and come to find out it was his 2nd concussion in 2 weeks. Hell, I thought he was paralyzed there for a while.
The report on nbc halftime is that the TE from buffalo is out of surgery but they will have to wait at least 24 hours to determine the full extent of his injuries.
