i actually agree with him this week...but i think the kelly score won't be that close

St. Paul/Castlewood would be a great game, but it won't be played tonight.

Gate City/VA High could also end up being a good game.

I dont think PV will put up 50 on CW.

I don't either...after 2 losses each, both of those teams have different mindsets tho.

I don't think the margin will be that wide either.

But, it's tough to predict with this Clintwood team.

the Saint paul game will be played on Monday night.

I agree.. My guess would be something near 28-7, but 52-10? That's far too much IMO.

PV offense is capable of it.


GC/VA high...its our homecomeing and it was just insane, out of all my years at GC (this being my last) ive never seen our school this crazy, our players are ready for it.

That's going to be a tough homecoming game but I have faith in Gate City .. they've played pretty well (much better than I thought they'd do this season anyways) so I look for them to give VA High one heck of a game.

GC's under-rated IMO this year. Lebennon is a crazy team with a great running back (almost 900 yards already this year for skyler 112 carries) SO im not trying to take anything away, but GC played like a different team that game. Richlands was a game we played well defensively-but thats it we pretty much didn't have an offense in that macth up.

I think you'll be surprised at the score tonite.

Good call on this one. I thought it would be close, but with VHS coming out on top.

Thats probably the funniest thing I've seen in a while, haha I was totaly expecting like 20's or 30's haha ends up being like 15 points total.

Gate City will beat Powell Valley.

Exact same statement I made tonight.

I think this is the worst i've seen PV's record at mid-season since i've been alive...and can remember...

That VHS/GC score really surprised me. I expected GC to win, but not by that margin.

The turnovers absolutely killed Powell Valley tonight .. it certainly didn't help when they threw several interceptions in/very close to the 'red zone,' one which of course happened near the end of the game.

Why didn't they just continue to run the ball? They seemed to do much better running than passing tonight .. too many bad throws and bad decisions overall. The fumbles were also a problem on both sides in my opinion.

It was a thrilling game, but I wasn't impressed at all with either team. Powell Valley made too many mistakes and Clintwood basically rode on those mistakes and turned it into a shocking win for them - but besides the mistakes that they took advantage of, they really didn't do much of anything all night long.

Clintwood had quite a few turnovers also....I know the game stayed between the 30 yard lines/mid field for majority of the 3rd quarter..this come from fumbles/int's from both sides..

Yeah Im glad we played so well tonite.

this was a big win for us tonite ..... we really needed it after the last 2 weeks ... hopefully will be a good confidence booster for the rest of the yr.
