Hawaii going down on ESPN...

to San Jose State...lol..guess Hawaii really deserved that #16 ranking...

Yeah, on the great ESPN they were talking about Hawaii possibly winning out and maybe grabbing a BCS berth and pulling a Boise State. Hawaii should be ranked around #40 or so. They have beat up on some good NAIA teams thus far but will probably lose 1 if not 2 more games this year.

There are 10 SEC teams that deserved that ranking more than Hawaii does..lol

I lived in Hawaii for 2 years and I absolutely hate that team. The only real "game" they ever played was BYU...and sometimes they would win that one..most of the time not. But, to hear the folks on the island talk you'd think they were the best the NCAA had to offer....and their unis were worse then than they are now.

I remember those ugly arse green unis with the Rainbow Brite rainbow on the helmet.

Those were the ones...and green pants with a rainbow down the leg...lol. That was when they were the Rainbows. They didn't add the "warrior" part til a few years later.

Funny...the announcers sayin Colt Brennan can define his legacy with this game...and the opponent is San Jose St...lol

i dont think any team in the top 25 is safe this year...is it just me or has this been the season with the most parity??

I agree, ive never seen a season so unpredictable.

It's been a season where many traditional "darlings" in the top 25 have been vastly overrated..lol

BTW...how bout all them "rat-tails" or whatever you call that fuzz sticking out of 3/4 of Hawaii's players helmets..lol

For a Friday night, they picked prolly the worst brand of college football to air..lol..even if Hawaii wins, both of these teams totally suck.

Yeah..I listened to alot of crap when USF beat Auburn...haven't heard it at all since they beat WV.

I just don't understand why WVU doesn't play at all when they play those guys haha, i just don't see what there donig so well to be with out a loss.

Well, for one they play in the Big East...and 2 they have some pretty good athletes this year. USFs mojo over WV is the same as the mojo WV had over VT for years. Tech would win when it meant nothing...but WV would roll them if there was anything major on the line.

Well Big East isn't BAD for a conference outside of the SEC. Probably one of the better ones outside the SEC. haha.

All they have in the big east is WV and an annual surprise team..lol.

they won......thats all that will matter.....colt brennan is a god......its too bad he rarely plays a full game or his numbers would really be off the charts

Considering he throws the ball 75+ times a game, Im sure he'd put up 400-500 yds.

Its more the system than Colt, IMO. When he was out this year, his backup put up big numbers as well.

He wouldn't be able to throw it 75 times against a defense like LSU's. A man cannot throw it if he's on his back. Speed like LSU's would leave him dazed and confused.

the system doesnt lead to a qb completing almost 80% of his passes......if anything throwing more would lead to more incompletions........the guy is a stud.....bottom line

the key thing in looking at a qb is his completion %.....his pocket presence....and release time......all of which he has.......and he can do it from under center or in the gun......plus hes got the size......he will be a stud in the NFL

i am a fan club member......but unlike timmy chang or any texass tech qb......hes the real deal.....and im looking forward to seeing him in the NFL

if his WRs held everything that they should catch.....his completion % would actually be like 85%

Looks like he might be playing in Miami.

Brennan is another Ty Detmer...seen it before. The only difference is that when Detmer played for BYU they actually had 1 or 2 tough games on the schedule. Brennan only has his stats cuz the majority of his passes are short routes (attruibute that to his system). If he plays against top 25 competition, he'll fade in a hurry.
