What the hell happened to Clintwood last week? GC have a bad game tonight or PV just play a great game?

PV plays to their competition. PV very easily could be undefeated, good game the touchdown on the last play of the first half was huge for pv.

Did PV actually play like PV should, or did GC just not show up tonight. Give us some insights...

Once PV adjusted and put the extra man in the box the game was over. PV plays like they did tonight and they'll represent the Region D again.

PV seems to either play great or really poorly. If they had played great every quarter of every game (nobody does) they would be undefeated. If they had played like they did against CW and in the 3rd against Burton they'd have 1 win.

No doubt in my mind they played well against Burton and Richlands. Great defensive night against Clintwood, offense shot their feet off. I was referring to how many turnovers and stupid mistakes/penalties they have been making that has hurt them in ballgames. Evidently it was better tonight.

Do I need to bring out 40 pages of if the ref hadn't of thrown the flag we'd won state?

Oh I agree about that. Still think the LPD sends two teams to the state semi's and one to the state title game.

Facts are this... Pv came ready to play, and the ball bounced their way twice tonight. (i.e. Reception by Malcom Pinkston as time expired at the half, and the fumble return for a touchdown after the field goal.) the fumble was a huge play i don't know if it was truly a good call for gate city, the guy looked down.... but the ref never blew the whistle on the play to call a dead ball and gate city got caught with their pants down.

Gate City, very much improved from last year... we played 3 quarters like we played the first two against burton... Lee and Burton heed to the warning GC is hungry don't over look them.

PV,CW,JIB all could win region and go to state, imo

The truth is PV finally played together and played a complete game. As much as it pains some of you to hear it, IF PV played every week like they did tonight, they would prolly be undefeated. It took a while for PV to make the adjustment to walk an extra player up in the middle, but like PVFAN said, once they did, it was over. GC is a pretty good team, just have a weak secondary.

Being a Burton fan, I wouldn't start on an "if this and if that" rant..lol...but y'all have said it enough over the years...guess it's second nature. I guess the excuse this year is gonna be "if coleman wasn't hurt"...and that one can go along with the collection of "if appy hadn't kicked a FG" and "if goode wasn't hurt" and "if we could have gotten going faster against WC" and "if the ref hadn't thrown his flag in the last seconds"..lol...don't go there.

I've yet to find anything that he does care about. If JIB/UNC/Redksins lose he doesn't care. Yet he shows interest in them at other times.
