Impressive...in the weak NFC.
Hey, at least they beat Da Bearss twice.
If they can handle Green Bay at least once, they'll probably win the NFC Norris.
let me have atleast a small moment to enjoy this guys...i mean come on...we've almost doubled what we did last year
They played better against the Bears this time around than last time. The biggest thing they have going for them is the ability to force turnovers. I dont think they catch the Packers or even come close but they may make the playoffs. The difference yesterday is they ran the ball well. The Bears are so beat up at DT though, its hard to say if that was the Lions or just a whole lot of injuries for Chicago. Tommie Harris is playing on one leg and the guys backing him up are 3rd stringers. The passing game, particularly in the pass protection is looking better.
Mega you try to find a reason to show NO love to the Lions but hell their not that bad compared to the other teams in the NFC....

1. Cowboys
2. Gmen
3. Packers
4. Lions
Jon Kitna said back during the summer that the Lions would win 10 games this year. He may have been right.

Because they arent that good, thats why. We play in the NFC..once you all open your eyes and realize that the better.

I just think the lions are easy top 5 outta the NFC, which would be like top 10 outta the AFC
everybody is sub par compared to the pats so that isnt even a fair comparison

What in the bloody hell are you talking about? I said they played a good game yesterday and ran the ball as they should. That they have developed nicely since the first time they played Chicago and that the pass protection was good. I said I dont think they will win the North because Green Bay already has a 2 game lead. What about that is showing no love? ok Bushwick, all I said was the dline is banged up. Walker is hurt, Harris is hurt, and Dvorceck is out for the season. They are playing with guys that are basically practice squad guys at DT. WHERE is the so forth part?? You just threw that in to make your post look more worthwhile. If you bothered to watch a damn game, then youd realize that Adrian Peterson ran for 223 yards against the same team 2 weeks ago. Its my opinion that they dont catch the Packers, what about that is showing no love. Now go take your HGH before its too late.

dude you really are an idiot, how can you say MORE when I stated the same thing twice. The defensive tackles are banged up(thats right Walker, Harris, Dvorcek all play DT). Thats the only thing I said. If your are going to put words like MORE and NO in all caps and saying "and so forth", can you at least have it reflect on something I actually did say instead of trying to make something up. 90% of my initial post was praising the Lions. You might wanna take a course called reading in the content area so you can learn how to comprehend and think critically. Quit putting words in my mouth and learn how to post better.

yep, the o-line did a nice job yesterday. They werent as pass happy. Their D is still sketchy but they force turnovers so bending but not breaking will help them win some games.

First, I wasnt making EXCUSES, if you read the damn initial post and see that at worst a made ONE excuse(if you want to even call it that). Again you have made up something. The word "excuses" is plural and I sure as hell didnt say more than one thing about the bears in the whole post. The bears have a lot of problems! Rex needs to be QB, BG made way to many mistakes! 3 int in the redzone, you can't have that in the NFL!!! It wasn't just their D line, it was their hole team they all suck
I dunno about Rex being QB but there is plenty of blame to go around. Stopping the run and running the ball are two things that are essential to a winning team in the nfl. They do neither well. This thread was about the Lions though.

you gotta feel bad for jon kitna though. he boldly predicted 10 wins before the season began. they had a legit shot at getting there too, but then the old lions showed up. they lost a couple of close ones down the stretch. kitna is a good guy that strongly believed in his team. the problem there is probably matt millen.
