1-PV will be accused of running the score up
2-Indian Dad will give another pump up speech to Kelly
3-boney will berate and chastize the posters from JIB
4-wyattap will threaten to beat at least 2 people's a$$es
5-JIB fans will give excuses for their loss to GC
6-biggin will raise some hell on various posters
7-Appy will offer no excuses...but their kicking game will be picked apart by more than 1 poster
8-the D2 playoof picture won't be discussed nearly as much as the D1 picture
9-Rocketeer will pull at least 2 hands full of hair out trying to cool off arguments
and..
10-PV Rulz the LPD will be the grand marshall of all the forum festivities.

you forgot JIBs fans will disrupt all talk of their loss by saying that they have been to the state title game three times in a row as if the past matters this season

Well....how many did Phil put up after the half, how many backs did he pull after the half and how many plays did he run outside, while going for it on 4th down? Sometimes you just have to be there. From my understanding Appalachia sent black roses to PV today. I'm actually suprised it didn't get worse than what it was.

I'd say someone from PV sent the roses..lol..coaches do all kinds of crazy $hit to fire up their team..But, when I was in school I always thought it was coming from a rival when anything arrived at the school on gameday..lol..that kind of stuff makes it fun tho

That was prolly the least amount of fun ever had by burton fans.

When I first heard the Gate City - J.I. Burton score on 93.5 after I left the PV/Appy game I thought they had made a mistake and announced it wrong. Seems if I went to the wrong ballgame, as the one I went to wasn't much to see.

Wyattap's post above that he made earlier in the week was the first thing I thought of when I found out the score was correct as WAXM announced it. That game was honest freaking truth the epitome of not haveing fun as a JIB fan/player/alumni/resident of norton/child of resident of norton/the mayor. I would have went crazy if i were any of those, honestly.

It's not life or death people, just a football game, there are more important things in life than football.

This is not ment directly at you, but your quote is quite entertaining considering while winning 22-23 games before gate city. Football was life at burton.... That all anybody on here ever heard about, is getting screwed out of state and how great their team is.

And I am personally tired of hearing about it. I love to watch high school football games because it is purest form of football.

Yes high school football is the best and purest form of football, kids put fort alot of blood and sweat just for school and town pride.

UTVols2 I dont know if your post was directed towards me in any way or not but I think the norton staff is one of the best in the region but all we hear about from the fans (not all of them) is how great burtons football team is and how they are the best team in the region and how they wont face a challenge until half state and on and on and on I dont blame them for being proud hell if haysi went to state thats all I would talk about but when you brag like that and lose you are going to catch hell from everyone I dont have a problem with burtons fans but they asked for it

high school is the purest form of football espically in this area every friday kids go out there and lay it on the line for pride
