pulled it out. I can't believe it.
The way the SEC beats and bangs a team up, and considering all of the top 25 teams they have beaten, they are the best in the country...and I'll not believe otherwise until I see one of the other higly ranked teams from another conference beat em.
Man I dont like LSU But I was rooting for em I hate seeing the SEC knock itself out of championship contention.
I'm the same way...I back Auburn, and an LSU win almost assured that AU wouldn't factor in the west..plus it was Bama that went down...But, an LSU loss pretty much bumps the SEC out of the national title hunt.
My three favorite college teams are UT, VT, and ANYONE who beats Bama!!
have [censored] fun lsu, jpw gave it to you tonight.
chad jones is their best defensive player.
our secondary is gonna be scary good in a few years.
IMHO LSU is not as good as everyone thinks, I honestly think that the PAC-10 has the best football this year, and if a team in that conference doesn't make the title game it will be a sham.

Its almost scary, but LSU reminds me alot of last years Florida team. All you heard was how Florida almost lost this, and almost lost that, and then the stomp Ohio State. LSU is a great
football team. They have played a difficult schedule and have lost one game in triple overtime. You cant win by 40 every week in the SEC. LSU vs. Oregon would be a great NC game. LSU vs. Ohio State will be the SOS as last year. But LSU is going to be number 2 next week, so who knows. That seems to be the kiss of death.
Excellent game to watch. We came up on the losing end of this one. Just hated to give it away the way that we did. Bama has achieved more this year than I personally expected. It took us giving the ball game away on a late fumble for the best team in the nation to beat us. Makes me look forward to next year when they will be a year older. Les Miles better enjoy riding the coat tails of Sabans recruits because after this year it doesn`t look too bright.
John Parker Wilson did not give it away actually with our whole 20yrds of rushing he was all the offense that we had. What beat us yesterday was 3 of 4 offical reversials all of which was in Lsu territory. 1. The interception around the 30yrd line, 2. The fumble recovery, that they called a incomplete pass even tho the reciver had turned his shoulders to procede up field, and the worst call of all the 40+ yard pass to #11 that was a diving catch where the instant replay plainly showed the reciver catch the ball, pull into his chest and elbows hit the turf first... ball never came out until he was completly down. That would have gave bama 1st and goal from the 8 while up by 7.... End of game and Lsu. But i guess the review offical seen something that no one else seen including the people calling the game.
I really think Oregon should be the #2 team now. They are playing some good football but LSU is struggling game in and game out. They are not the same team that started the season. Alabama should not have been even close is the hype about LSU was 100% true.
LSU isn't struggling at all. They have beaten Va. Tech, FL., Auburn, Alabama, South Carolina, and Miss ST. All pretty good football teams. Show me someone else that has done that including anyone in the PAC-10 or Ohio ST. LSU is the best team in the country.
LSU is the best team in the country.....behind oregon
Oregon is tough. But not as talented as LSU overall.
Dixson and Stewart are probably best QB and running back combo in the country. But Oregon defense is not close to LSU's speed. Also depth LSU has on both sides of the ball beats Oregon.
I do think Oregon is better than Ohio St. and deserve a shot at LSU if they win out. They have beaten some good teams. They really should be unbeaten and the Michigan win was huge. But not as impressive as what LSU has done week in week out in a better conference.
Dixon and Stewart?
Smihdt (sp), White, and Slaton!
Will Dixon play this week? If he's hurt, Oregons hopes of playing in the NC game are shot. Did anyone see him play in the Appy league this summer by the way?
They said that Dixons injury wasn't hard core or anything he ran off the field and stuff after the game...

I think it would be hard for them to lose to Arizona either way but Leaf is a pretty decent back up. They should be in good hands whichever way they are forced to go.
Well, I wasn't necessarily saying for this week. I didn't know how bad he had been hurt. I was thinking possibly down the road.
The BCS-ABC & ESPN want a big ten/pac ten match up but will settle for a big ten/sec matchup. Here's the problem. The buckeyes, cats or the ducks could get derailed and if michigan runs the board look for the wolverines to move up to one or two and I heard the computers are pissed and are meeting to make some unexpected changes.
Why do the networks want a big ten/pac 10 matchup?
It would seem to me that it would benefit them to be able to keep Oregon out west in the Rose Bowl and let the home town(basically) Bayou Tigers play in the Sugar Bowl against the Bucks. That would be a HUGE draw for college football and New Orleans in particular.
They hated to lose the Big-Ten Pac-Ten Rose Bowl, the granddaddy of them all when it changed to the BCS. Remember the ABC connection to big ten-pac ten football., ugh ESPN owned by ABC.
Listen to the ABC-ESPN announcers make the case for Big Ten vs. Pac Ten if at all possible. Whoa Nellie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When those announcers are trying to make their case, all ya have to do is turn the channel to the SEC feature game that is on (doesn't matter what time of the day on Saturday) and all of their arguments are moot points at that junction.
