Nice!!!!
Isn't that the Texas A&M coach.
That's the rumor, but from all I've seen and heard it isn't happening...he was the defensive coordinator at A&M in 1994, but that don't mean diddley, especially when he comes out and says he is staying at AU and there is a $6 million buy out on his contract..lol
If Tubby is dumb enough to leave Auburn for Texas A&M, he deserves whatever he gets.
That would be like Phil Robbins leaving PV to take over the Pound program.

Sounds like a liar coach at another Alabama school.
If Ears leaves Auburn for A&M, he's one dumb son of a [censored].
True....even Franchione leavin Bama for it was stupid, even if Bama was on probation.
You can't even compare Tuberville's integrity with that of Saban... Saban's a douche...Coach T isn't.
No. Ears is a good guy. I'd never say anything that horrible (comparing to Satan). He seems like a good guy and he's a good coach.
btw... Good job Auburn on making Alabama uneligible for a bowl. Satan also raised his price this year per win from $666,667 to over $800,000 with the Auburn loss.
He is in a perfect situation where he's at...and he knows it. When he questions that, he needs to look at the talent level he had at Ole Miss...lol. That being said, after the AU boosters tried to railroad him a few years ago, there were wholesale changes in Au's athletic Dept...and IMO, it was done to ensure that Coach T didn't have to worry about that shiz anymore. And, I think he respects that...at AU he is god.
I don't see him leaving unless it's someplace that he could see it as a step up like USC, Texas, Michigan.
I don't see that as a step up....none are SEC teams. BTW, Bama isn't ineligible for a bowl, but if they get in one it will be one of the shi-tay ones...lol. Maybe the "Planters Peanuts We Can't Play In A Decent Bowl Cuz Auburn Is Our Daddy Bowl".
It would be a step up for a few reasons.
1. It's not an SEC job. No conference title game to worry about with 2 of those 3.
2. Weaker conferences. Makes it easier to get into the MNC game.
3. Nobody instate to really contend with for recruits. 2 of the 3 have rediculous talent pools in state that you could just cherry pick players from and not have to leave the state.
I can see the job being easier, but not necessiarily a step up.
That's why I think it would be a step up. It wouldn't be a step up from a fans perspective, but for a coach not having to worry about recruiting, having an easy schedule, no instate competition, being able to suck ass like OSU or USC and lose a game and still make it to the MNC game, that would mean a lot to a coach.
IMO, it never means anything to walk all over inferior competition and get ur a$$ kicked by the big boys...and that is basically what those schools do.
Yep. That's looking at it from a fans perspective though. If you're a coach, it makes life a lot easier. Look at Mack Brown; rediculous talent pool, better facilities than 95% of the rest of the country, more money, and he still loses to OK every 3 out of 4 and gets beat by A&M or OKST and still is a god in TX.

When have the Trojans have their ass kicked? Geez, Pete Carrol hasnt lost a game by more than 11 points since hes been there and that was in a 6-6 first season. USC is one of the top 3 coaching jobs in the country bar none. The talent pool is unlimited, Jeff Tedford cant even put a dent in it and they have a national following much like Notre Dame. Auburn gets good players but Pete Carrol gets anyone he wants. Maybe thats just a reflection of him and not the program but if Tuberville were there, he should be capable of maintaining it.
hahahahaha
tuberville is in awwbarn, but isnt in that pine pox he told the ole miss faithful they were gonna have to carry him out in.
To be so good over the past few years since Carrol has been there, USC only has 1 legit National Championship...as for the other one, LSU has the BCS trophy..so it's kinda hard to call USC the Champ.
They have a trophy that says AP national champs, hard to say it isnt legit. Its more legit than Ohio States 02 title. Funny how we went from talking about USC getting spanked which hasnt happend since Hackett was coach to titles.
No one cares about AP champs but USC and their fans...LSU walkes away with the crystal football.
03 was a crock of [censored], lsu should have played usc on the field.
the MNC is the biggest controversy in college football, and the GREATEST difficulty the NCAA needs to address.

Theres been plenty of split national champions in the history of the game. Miami is generally regarded as the 91 champ, Washington came away with the crystal ball then, whats the difference? Same with Colordo and GT in 1990. If anything USC was the legitimate national champ whereas LSU wasnt. Nobody in the history of college football has ever been #1 in both polls and removed from the #1 spot as a result of anything BESIDES on the field performance. The Coaches had USC #1 and if they had been allowed, USC would have been voted #1 by them, given the crystal ball and LSU would not have received anything ala Penn State 1994. LSU can thank a contract, one that doesnt even exist now because of that very situation.
That is the case, but that was before the BCS. At this point in the season, the BCS is what matters, and to me that is the legit champion. Before the BCS, different story.
