Wow, the mighty ACC fails to sell out yet another title game.
Good location weatherwise. I would think they might opt for a more central location like Charlotte.
Well....would you pay good money to watch that fiasco ? I know I wouldn't.

Doesn't help that they picked Jacksonville as the location.
At least the SEC had the sense to get the title game out of Alabama after a year.
The SEC could play in Antartica and sell the game out.
True.
It doesn't help that geographically, the ACC is somewhat spread out. Take away FSU, UM, and BC and you've got five states. It would make sense to at least rotate the game between DC, Charlotte, and Jacksonville.
Well, the ACC picked it's spot to accomodate FSU and UM who were supposed to play every year for the title. Guess that's what the ACC bigwigs get for assumming. I think Charlotte or Fedex would sell a lot better.
Could be that, between BC and VT, no one really gives a fat rat's ass!
Jacksonville is just a bad spot for it because thats Gator/Bulldawg country. Tampa or Orlando would have been much better I believe. Atlanta would have been a good option too even if they have to play it a week later or earlier. Its fair that it stays in Florida, the basketball schools(the Carolina teams) have generally had the ACC tournament in Greensboro or Charlotte forever. I think they finally had one in DC which was a little odd I thought.
The ACC baseball tourny used to always be in North Carolina, it was recently moved to Tampa I believe.
The TV broadcast today said Charlotte will likely be the location in the future.
if the game was in charlotte it would be close to being sold out
absolutely.

That is just tarded, why would you move it from even further away to gaurantee less fans going when fsu or um aren't playing in the game. And you can't even bring in the basketball tourny since it wasn't a decent semi-central location for only one team (fsu) that couldn't even buy a win in basketball till the last few years. Just because your a um fan doesn't mean they have to have everything at home, but I guess losing at home is a little easier since you don't have the long drive back all depressed.
