the secret to beating the patriots, get ahead, stay ahead... pass over the middle...
Baltimore has to hold em.. I love the Ravens, but they are sucking up this year.. i'm pulling for em'..
Go Ravens!
Could there be some free champagne in the Raven's future?
how many bs calls are the pats gonna get..this shiz's rigged.

Amen. I've never seen so many iffy calls handed to a team on a silver platter.
No matter what the Pats do this year, it'll be tainted.
Ravens got screwed on calls tonight...that sucks.
well...after the ball is snapped don't give the TO regardless of who calls it. Second, that last 4th down holding call was BS...why can't they quit handicapping the d in order to let wrs run all over around and through the secondary...it's enough to make ya sick.
disgusted. The Ravens were ripped. They absolutely out played the Patriots. However, the refs thought different.
The ball was snapped before the timeout was called, that's ridiculous... defensive holding? are you kidding me? defenders have 5 yards to do a little bumping..
so many BS calls tonight..
I never seen so manny bull$hit calls in one game in my life...I cant believe that crap......and idk it may just be me but Im pretty sure that wasnt a TD
As much as I hate to say it, the defensive holding was legit. It way beyond the 5 yard gap.
I'm against that reaching for the pylon Bullshit, I'm sick of the last second TOs being granted when a player on the field doesn't call em, I'm sick of a franchise whose dynasty was founded on a bullshit call in the snow vs Oakland a few years ago, and I'm [censored] sick of everyone in the league suckin the pats [richard]...and I hate baltimore..but hell far.

I'll give you 7/10 on that one. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif[/img]
I was wanting the Ravens to win but the dirty birds did hold watson in the endzone for that 1st. But there was a lot of iffy calls tonight.... Man they played their hearts out.
I really hope teams take notes tonight, and see the keys in beating the Patriots.
he even switched hands on the touchdown catch... what crap..
but what I did see tonight is that the Ravens are coming alive. I hate that it's at the end of the season, and going out with a losing record, maybe 8-8. But Boller finally looked good, McGahee was fantastic.
Steve McNair is on the IR the rest of the year.. I say release him. We've got Kyle Boller and Troy Smith.
I hate the illegal contact bullshit too...if a WR can't take a beatdown every play unless the ball is in the air, they need to be playin tiddlywinks or somethin...all these BS new rules hurt the game..
I'm thinking the Steelers will get um next week...
I wanted the ravens to win so bad, I know they were playing their hearts out for Sean...Lewis almost made me choke up watching him in that moment of silence....A lot of heart....I think it is funny though that ever since Brady made that comment about killing teams, he hasnt got the chance since.....Damn Im so pissed, those damn zebras....
I hate the Steelers too..but I hope they rape NE next week...figuratively..not literally..cuz that would be some sick [censored].

I was just thinking about that the other day. I espeacially hate the reaching for the pylons crap. If you cant get body and ball in the enzone together then it shouldnt be a TD.

Listen I would love to see that i really would but I wouldn't count on it. This team has fought for 60 mins the last 2 weeks. If they was going to lose a game this was the one. I don't think they're gonna go 16-0 but the steeler ARE NOT gonna win....
I'll put money on it....
I doubt the Pats will go 16-0, mainly because they play the Giants the last game of the season. The game will mean nothing to the Pats other than going 16-0, while it may mean play-offs or go home to the Giants. The Giants and the Steelers are the only ones I think may have a shot, although it would be ironic if Miami came up and smacked them. I would LOVE it!
I will respect your opinion...but I think the Steelers will be the one to stop um.If the Steelers get their injured players back out on the field that hasn't got to play the last few games then I have no dout they will beat um.
The Steelers can very well give them a good game. But what Steelers team will show up? The good team, or the mediocre team?
The Pats can get beat up and down the field, but when you've got to beat the officials as well. Brady seems to be getting frusturated these last 2 weeks. He's not been able to bulldoze the competition and have a field day, and I love it.

What are you talking about? You watched the game right? That was holding in the endzone man, he held him for about 8 yards. The Ravens were the ones who called the time out. What call are you talking about? Don't get me wrong yall I would love to see them go down but the Ravens lost that game. The refs didn't lose it for them! Samri Rolle said the same thing, they just flat out beat them.
As for the Steelers well we'll just have to wait and see.....
Would you put money on Detoilet making the playoffs? lol
Three maybe four weeks ago yea but as of right now NO....
What happened? I thought they were one of the best in the NFC? HAHA...they were a joke from start.
I wouldn't say that but aren't we getting off topic here?
As for your question I wouldn't know how to anwser it man. They just fell apart.
It doesn't matter who called the TO..the ball was snapped...as far as the holding goes, I saw illegal contact but not holding. And, as far as I'm concerned, if the ball isn't in the air, or can't be caught by a receiver, illegal contact is a crock. The DB should be able to punish the WR until the ball is in the air...when they made that rule, it basically neutered football as it was once played.
Dude it wasn't just illegal contact the man was held for about 7 yards. I watched it about 20 times this morning on first take...
IMO, a DB has to have some recourse cuz they have taken every physical technique away from em. Still, the TO shouldn't have been granted since the play happened already..so whether or not it was holding is a moot point.
Listen it was the Ravens coaches that called the time out and It was before the snap. And before all this happen the raven lost the games for themselves. They needed a couple first downs and they go three and out. Offense didn't really help them out in the end.
That rule got created as a result of Pollian and Dungy complaining about the Pats DB's mugging the Colts wide outs. The game that changed it was that game at Foxboro where Law picked Manning off 3 times I believe. It was snowing and Edge was running the ball down their throats but they decided to go to the passing game. Bad mistake.
lol...if you say so..but IMO it's a crock of [censored]...so you can see it ur way, and I'll see it mine. I guess I just get fed up with this semblance of what was at one time pro football..but now is nothing more than a political racket. IMO they don't need all these new fangled rules that have come about in the last 10 years or so. A long time ago "in the grasp" was the bane of the league...sad thing is, it's only went downhill from there. Let the players decide the outcome at least.
A DB should be able to make contact downfield until the ball is in the air, IMO.
I don't care why it was changed...football was fine for decades before it. The way I see it, a rule shouldn't be changed just to fit so and so's personell..
Yep, without it we might as well just play basketball...IMO the NFL has done nothing good by crippling defenses vs. the pass.
Listen it wasn't just contact, he held his jerzey for about 7 or 8 yards. All refs are going to make them calls
I never said it was. I didnt see the play, so I cant say what happened. Im just stating my opinion on league rules.
