I see him as a high priced arena league boy! Naaa seriously, he is another Andre Ware, David Klinger type. I hope I am wrong but he is like the other QB from there...Timmy Chang was it? he might make it to the last cut but I do not see him playing on Sundays!
It's hard to judge how good he is considering he was on his back for most of the game.
Looked like he needed help reading defenses. Thats another reason hes a sub par qb.

i give alot of credit to martinez.........he really took advantage of the lack of a TE all night and brennan never got a chance to get into any kind of rythm
its very hard for any qb to be effective when you are always being rushed......and cannot really get comfortable
the fumble that UGA recovered for a TD is a classic example......from the snap he didnt even have time to take one step up in the pocket without having somebody bearing down on him
last night wasnt about him being good or bad.......but how good the UGA defense is compared to the OL of the warriors......who last night played more like the rainbows
What it boils down to is he finally played some real competition. Damn shame he sucked it up. Face the facts man, hes average, at best.
hes far from average
hes got the quickest release in the game.........hes got pin point accuracy
the problem he faced last night was that his OL was so bad compared to UGA DL......he was doomed from the start
that OL couldnt block traffic last night
Peyton Manning couldnt have done much better last night if he was playing behind that Warrior O Line.
IMO, Brennan will never be any better than say...Ty Detmer. Both are the same type of QB, from the same type of system....expect the same type of pro career.

I know you like to say he has pin point accuracy, you have said it many times before, but when you throw small to intermediate routes(wr screens, slants, hitches, etc) all the time your numbers will be skewed a little and make that completion percentage inflated. Most QB's that run the West Coast offense have very high completion percentages.
The way to determine a good QB is how he performs under pressure. Any AVG QB can sit with no pressure and complete 65%-75% of his passes. But a GOOD/GREAT QB can do it when he has bodies flying at him from all angles. Some of the throws I saw from Brennan last night were terrible and accuracy was not the word being used.
last night was a complete disaster for him.......but it was due to the inability of his OL to stop the UGA rush
its extremely difficult to complete anything when you dont have enough time to even set your feet to throw
Even before last night, I wouldn't waste a pick on him unless I needed a career backup.

I disagree. Brennan and the Warriors' offensive line faced the best defense they've seen all year. They don't see D linemen and LBs that are that physical in the WAC. Brennan is a good QB that should have a decent career in the NFL. I'm a Brady Quinn fan. I think Brennan is just as good as Quinn at the college level. What might hurt Brennan on draft day is his size.

I feel sorry for him, if thats the case.
Listen to all this jive....Last year it was the same thing about some QB who played for Ohio State....Did anybody watch the last few Ravens Games, I ragged on him too, but he didn't look to shabby for a rookie, he may not be a Tom Brady, but he sure ain't as bad as a Danny Warffle or a Heith Shuler
Troy Smith has had limited success because of his mobility. Brennan does not have that. He is average.
brennan got sacked 8 friggin times......no qb is going to look with that stat
Detmer and Brennan arent from the same type of system. Detmer played in Norm Chow's pro style offense. Brennan plays in a run and shoot similar to what Mike Leach runs and what was ran at Houston with Klinger and Ware.
They say he has the quickest release, but I hate his release point. Everything seems to be 3/4 to sidearm from what I have seen. He throws the ball from the same level a 5'11" QB does rather than a 6'3" QB. He will be a complete flop IMO if someone thinks he can be a starter in the NFL. His presnap reads looked pretty weak last night as well.

His size??? He's 6'3", so its not like hes Drew Brees.

I agree completly. Like I said earlier he needs help reading defenses, and that was evident when he faced a "real" defense last night. Not some fake ass WAC school.
He is 6'3, but isn't he kinda on the lanky side though? Like 190 or so?

I believe it lists him at 205, but he could definitely put on 10 or 15. Its not like speed is his attribute.
He looked like he could of used it when they showed the many clips of him getting jacked servral times this year, includeing last night.
A decent qb, unlike Brennan, would have read that defense and made plays. You can make al lthe excuses for him man, the bottom line is that he is an average qb. The sooner you relaize that, then the sooner we can move on.
Im sorta surprised this is such a debate. Graham Harrell very well could be better than Brennan.
A better debate might be if Chad Henne will be worth a crap at the next level.
