Not to surprised with this. He has done what needed to be done there. He got the program turned around and going to the playoffs and having a chance again.

At least mine isn't in the form of a question.
It was a tease for all those Deadskin fans.

Why must you put a strain on our friendship with comments like this?
If the next head coach is not Bill Cowher or Greg Williams Daniel Snyder should sell the team.
Gibbs heart is in Racing now anyways I think
And for that reason I'm glad he resigned.. I want him to come back over to the race teams full time.. ;-)
If Williams isnt the coach, then he's gone altogether. I dont forsee him staying if he isnt named the next coach.
You wouldnt take Grimm?
Imo it's
Cowher
Williams
everyone else
Talent is obviously there, to make the playoffs with that many injuries show how much talent and dpeth they have. Regardless who the coach is I just hope they can get everyone healthy, especially on the o-line. Not sure I'm ready to watch Stephon Heyer run out there again.
Would you take Cowher if it meant Williams was gone?
A healthy oline would be very nice.
I don't know that would be tough. Obviously Cowher is a proven head coach and has had much more success than Williams as a head coach. Skins hands are pretty much tied with this one, I see no way they cant hire Williams if he will take the job. Curious to see what they do with the draft pick, there are about 3 different directions they can go imo and none of which would be terrible. I'm not going to be upset if they take a D-Lineman, O-Lineman, or WR. Moss has such big play potential but he gives the impression of just one of those athletes who don't care. Him giving up on that ball last week, the fumble up in GB, and him becoming non-existent in some games. A lot of people will use the foot excuse, but there are some times you just have to play.
Who will they lose as a result of being 20M over the cap going into next season?
I'd take a look at Holmgren too. Hes a great coach. Its not his fault they have struggled. They still made the playoffs and lost the player that he wanted to keep at all cost.
Holmgren is to old imo.
Holmgren may be coaching in the Super Bowl again this year IMO...Seattle looked pretty darn stout IMO.
Yea it wouldn't suprise me either. The NFC is so evenly matched it's hard to say though, if you can get in the playoffs in the NFC you got a shot to go to the Super Bowl. I'm hoping it's GB/Indy in the Super Bowl.
I would say Springs will be cut due to the cap won't he PVFan?
Yea, thats what it's looking like.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Springs cut, and quite a bit of talk about Portis, who had some games where he was just non-existant. I know a lot of that is due to the O-line, but Betts is signed longer, and can be just as ineffective.
Portis is going nowhere.
