Great move, fouls out and runs into the official for a technical foul. Wouldn't be suprised if he's suspended for a couple games over this, he's already been ejected from this one. Say goodbye to any chance of beating Duke next week, the only spot VT was better was in the paint. With Allen gone I don't see them winning that game now. In other news I fully expect Bobby Massie to lose 1.5 years of elgibility for de-committing from VT, you don't mess with VT!!!!!!!!!
What can you expet from VT? I've seen a lot of stuff in the ACC in my years, but nev er have I seen a guy just elbow an official. He might get a multiple game suspension for this one, this goes beyond the Chris Paul punch.

I really could care less who wins this game, just had it on. It's always fun to watch VT embarass themselves with their attitude and actions. I'd be pissed off if I were you as well coming back going to win the game and then Jeff Allen goes and runs in to the ref. haha
it was a dumb move...terrible judgement...im more disappointed in you making it out to sound like he elbowed the ref in the ribs and spit in his face or somethin...you know just as well as i do that he brushed the ref with his arm on the way out, then apologized for it

I was pleased with how Maryland played in Blacksburg. At least Paul hit a player, Allen is going after the officials. I would say that Paul was provoked at some level, all that happened to Allen was a foul being called on him.

Why should Massie lose eligibility? His grades have gotten progressively worse since he committed and it is doubtful he will ever actually get into ANY D-1 school. He is grasping at straws hoping he can get somewhere after a year at Prep and he and everyone knows that Prunty will guard a schools commits like a mad dog (which he should and why he is highly respected). Massie will do well if he gets to JUCO.
His situation is nothing like another recruit who had signed with VT to play BB. Gilchrist cough cough and then made up some lame excuse so he could commit elsewhere.
