Clemson @ UNC

Wow, UNC is in some serious trouble if Lawson doesn't come back soon. 7 turnovers already and it's just now the first tv timeout.

Clemson is raining treys but Ellington is heating up .

If Lawson isn't healthy in the tourney, UNC may be out the first weekend.

Before UNC starts fouling I'd like to point out that with 3 minutes to go in the game Clemson leads by 11 and the free throws are 22-3 in favor of UNC.

Typical Clemson game, you have to be sick if your a Tiger fan.

I've been following this on Yahoo. How in the hell do you shoot 21 more FT's than your opponent and still go to 2OT's?

The foul disparity in this game is hilarious. They're in the second OT and Clemson is still not shooting 2. 28 fouls for Clemson (16 in the second half + 2OT's), 14 for UNC (9 in the second half + 2OT's).

Well, on UNCs defense they havent played tough enough D to draw too many fouls, at least not early on. There was definitely some things that were odd that has went on in this game. Who knows, Clemson may have been hurt by the timeout UNC was awarded, when the official screwed up. He blew his whistle after the ball had been inbounded on a make by UNC. It wasn't very loud and he started to let play continue but Teddy V stopped the action and then they still allowed UNC the TO. That was when they were down 2 with right at a minute left.

The final foul and free throw totals, to those of you who don't think there is an obvious Tobacco Road bias in this league need to wake up.

Oliver Purnell needs to wake up, he's been cheated two years in a row by Tobacco Road officials. The Duke game last year and this game, the man needs to grow a set.

Just observing..If TH ever does get as good as May, Jeff Allen, and Md's big men, he will be a hell of a b-ball player.

Great game though! As far as the fouls go, I did see NC attack the glass more than Clemson. How many "two shot oppotunities did NC have anyway?
Being that this Buffalo Wild Wings is near Clemson but in NC, the place was half divided from the cheering and trash talking going on. Great atmosphere!

Honestly, I think TH is a BETTER version of Kurt Rambis..LOL! Anyone here remember him? The man hustled, got all the lose balls, basically did the dirty work for the Lakers of the '80's. That is how I see TH in the NBA but only a stronger, faster version who has a decent foul-line and in shot.
He will be a better player than Sean May.....etch it in stone, mark it down. I have spoken. Besides, as injury prone as May is, if TH can go a whole season, he is better than May as far as being productive for his team!

Boney, if Maryland sucks why have they won the last two meetings over UNC and appeared in one more final four than Carolina this decade? Slobber Knocker, Tyler Hansbrough has never beaten Bambale Osby, and is 1-2 lifetime against James Gist. Who wouldn't take Maryland's big men? It's not possible for TH to even finish with a winning record against Maryland's current big men. Back to Clemson, Clemson has got robbed two years in a row on Tobacco Road, last year with the time situation at Duke and tonight at UNC.

As a Clemson fan, hell I'm just proud to see them playing this weel in Basketball...To let Clemson take you to 1 overtime as NC is a loss...But for Clemson, just taking NC to overtime is a win...

I am a die hard Duke fan and I can honestly say that when Duke or UNC are playing, they get a majority of the calls. I watched the UNC-Clemson game and the foul situation was quite comical. I can see that type of discrepency in high school basketball, but Division 1 College basketball, it was uncalled for!
