Kelly down by 1 at the half. Wilson has been ice cold for weeks (since hitting 7 treys in a game). Usually,when we hang early and don't get ran out of the gym (ala at Appy),we do ok. Rasnick needs to get it going though. Much better than the first semi. If Wilson can get it going,we'll be good to go.
When you blow as many layups as JJK did and Rasnic scores nothing,you lose. Another tough loss for JJK

just an interesting piece of information...kelly shot 7 foul shots as a team....Stewart alone had 15 attempts...

I was talking with someone about Wilson at the game last night. Earlier in the season, he was playing very well. But, he went cold late in the season. He seems to go instinctively for the 3 pt too when he would be better off positioning for a jump shot.
I'm not really all that surprised that JIB and Appalachia are playing for the championship. Both JJK and PV have been playing hot and cold most of the season.

Wilson had a bad game late in the season and since then it seems as though it has intimidated him....he definitely lit it up in the first half of the season. even though he hit only one of his "big" shots he still led the team in scoring....it's hard to beat the other team though when you are 4-7 on free throw attempts and they (JIB) are 18-27 from the stipe.....hats off to JIB, but all I can say is Go Dawgs!!!!!!
we were 12-23 from the line. if ur talking about the 23 foulshots compared to kellys 7 weve been on the other end of that a few times thats just life in the lpd with our officials. u never know what ur gonna get.
I think the thing that hurt JJK the most was that they weren't getting rebounds.
I noticed in the last few games, that Justin would attempt a 3 pt and if he missed, he would be hesitant to attempt it again. But, he is a really good shooter when he is on his A game.

I think Kelly really out hustled and out-rebounded us the first half...Im glad E picked it up. had 13 points and 19 rebounds

That's what I was wondering myself. Game is tied, Kelly holds for the last shot and the worst thing that happens is overtime. I liked the play TJ drew up on the inbounds under Kelly's goal with about 10 seconds left, but Strouth didn't finish and that was the ball game. Anybody know if Wilson is a senior? I don't remember him playing for Kelly last year. Is he a transfer or has he always been with the program?
He's a senior, and has always went to Kelly. Just never played basketball, he's a helluva baseball player though
