Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
I wonder what girls players are going to be playing.
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
Nothing of mention about the girls game in the newspaper. I would expect several of the LPD players to participate.
I'm kind of surprised that Tihlee isn't playing in the boys game.
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
This is for seniors only. That is why he isn't in there.

Yeah, having some All State and Region players plus the Group A POY is a pretty shabby bunch isn't it.

Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
So the action starts at 6 tonight at CW?...does anybody know the price of admission?
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
Decent game, it was close at times but when i left the white team was ahead by 20...Tennis Simon from GW won the dunk contest, Jamie hackney the 3 pt contest and the girls game was pretty boring..Ashley Hunter from JIB won the girls 3 pt contest
Those players from GW were impressive, see why they won state now
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
good game.. stafford from lee put on a show .. simon also played very good.. and so did hall from twin springs and fisher from castlewood
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
Stafford did play very good, all of the players from GW were great...
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
Looks like Evan Vanover from Clintwood had a good game, finished with 17 pts.
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
Two of the boy's from GW look very good. Mill's turned the ball over more time than he scored; which ten or eleven!!
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
Evan Vanover proved he could play with the big boy's!!
I wasn't at the tournment in Norton (FCA) but I understand he had 26 pts and was co MVP with Stafford from Lee.
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
yes he did have 26 at the game at norton also.
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
is he playing ball anywhere? i know stafford and hack are going to emory
-
Re: SWVA all-star basketball game
no..i dont reckon anybody recruited him..
