In the Eastern and Western Conferences in the NBA?


Of course I have my Suns, the have really heated it up and blew up the Spurs last night (that one was for you biggin haha)...but they have a lot of weapons and not just being bias but they can be very dangerous in the playoffs....even though they are playing great right now, if it doesnt transfer into the playoffs it doesnt mean [censored]...but in the east I have the wizards, Gilbert just came back and they are very dangerous...they beat the celtics 3 times this year...I know the celtics and pistons are great but the way the wizards and also the sixers have been playing...I think Im going to go with the wizards if they can keep it up

I'll take the Spurs in the West against anyone in a 7 game series. I think Detroit is the team to beat in the East. Boston may make it to the conference finals, but if they have to play Detroit they won't advance.

I dont think either boston or the pistons make it to the finals...I think boston will do the same thing the mavs did last year and for the West I think its a toss up, but there are a few teams id put in the finals before the spurs...

Who do you think will win the East?

I will go with a classic. Lakers vs. Celtics if Bynum can get back close to 100%. Pistons, and Spurs would have to be the other 2 favorites to get there.

I hope it's not Lakers vs. Celtics, because this time around I would have to pull for the Celtics and that makes me a little nauseous. I quit being a Laker fan when Magic and Worthy retired.

I want my suns in there, but to be honest I wouldnt mind seeing the Lakers and Celtics play

I think the Celtics definitely have a better chance than the pistons, but if the celtics end up playing the wizards...i think the wizards could take them...and idk if many ppl have noticed but the sixers have really heated up the past month or so and if that transfers to the playoffs then i think they could take the pistons...its just gonna come down to whos playing the hottest, which could very well be the wizards...so I dont know, just for some reason i dont see the pistons or celtics in it lol

Like most of the East the Sixers or Wizards don't have any depth. As even as most teams are, I would be very surprised if the Celts or Pistons are not in the East finals. The Cavs trade has hurt them.

It could very well end up like that, odds are definitely in both of their favors...I dont know why, i think one of them will be in the eastern con finals but i dont see em in the finals...dont really have a explanation haha

No one from the east can beat Boston/Detriot in a 7 game series, IMO.

Western Conference finals being between LAL and Utah.
Eastern Conference finals I see Celtics and Pistons.

The wizards have beat the Celts 3 out of 4 times this year...and 2 of them were without Arenas...so I think maybe that they could take them

Once the playoffs start you can throw that meaningless statistic away. I agree that the Wizards are better with Arenas, but I dont see the Celtics losing to anyone in the East with the exception of the Pistons.

the same could be said about the Celtics, that record they hae means nothing in the playoffs, ask the mavs about last year.....but if the wizards continue to play like they have against the celts, then bye bye

Well I can see the Wizards argument because they match up well with the Celts. Jamison competes well with KG. Arenas is better than Ray Allen, and Butler can equal out Paul Pierce. Its all a matter of the other contributors.

I think playoff experience is a huge piece of who advances to the conference finals. I think Detroit and Boston (with three veteran stars) have the edge over everybody else.

Only Detroit have playoff veteran players on their team though. Neither, KG, Allen, or Pierce have very much playoff experience, and whatever it is, it isn't positive.

That is the catch. The Boston stars have very little success in the playoffs, but Garnett especially has been there multiple times. I still think that gives them an advantage over Washington, Orlando etc.
