John McCains pastor
John McCain is endorsed by pastor who is either stupid or just a huge racist. Pastor john haggie said today that Hitler did god's work by killing all of the jews. now, i am democrat but that is just wrong and you all are going to vote for this man. there is no more common sense in the world anymore.

Re: John McCains pastor
wonder how much airplay this will get...

Re: John McCains pastor
When did Hagee say that? Do you have a link?
Also, I don't believe Hagee is McCains pastor, but is someone who endorsed McCain.

Re: John McCains pastor
not half as much...also i think he used to go to rod parsleys church and that guy is a whack job
-
Re: John McCains pastor
Do a Google search. It was years ago, not today. He's not McCain's pastor either, he just endorses him.

Re: John McCains pastor
GhostlyOne paints a little different picture than what I hear if this is the sermon that has him/her up in arms.

Re: John McCains pastor
1. He's not McCains Pastor.
2. Nothing I saw in that clip seemed terribly crazy or outlandish. Just his interpretation of Bible prophecy.
3. Nothing on that clip implied or indicated an antisemitic point of view or belief.
4. I saw no sign of hate as is clear in the clip of Rev. Wright.
5. McCain didn't attend services at his church for 20 years and then express surprise at his views as happened with Obama and Wright.
6. You can't control who endorses you. You can control the church you attend for 20 years.
7.McCain has nothing to apologize for there. Obama should now apologize for lying about not knowing Wright was a bigot and nutcase and still smiling through 20 years of his hogwash.

Re: John McCains pastor
Advisor perhaps?
Longtime uber-lobbyist Charles R. Black Jr. is John McCain's man in Washington, a political maestro who is hoping to guide his friend, the senator from Arizona, to the presidency this November.
But for half a decade in the 1980s, Black was also Jonas Savimbi's man in the capital city. His lobbying firm received millions from the brutal Angolan guerrilla leader and took advantage of Black's contacts in Congress and the White House...
In addition to Savimbi, Black and his partners were at times registered foreign agents for a remarkable collection of U.S.-backed foreign leaders whose human rights records were sometimes harshly criticized, even as their opposition to communism was embraced by American conservatives. They included Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire, Nigerian Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, Somali President Mohamed Siad Barre, and the countries of Kenya and Equatorial Guinea, among others..."

Re: John McCains pastor
I think both sides should be voting for the man and not his pastor. Either candidate's pastor/endorsing pastors will have next to nothing to do with how they run the country anyways. All this stuff is is fluff for CNN, Fox News, etc...to play around with and quabble about until the actual election. It's all a ploy.
Stop worrying about who their friends are and start worrying about where they stand on the issues that will effect yourself, Joe Blow American, on a daily basis.

Re: John McCains pastor
And who they are in biz with doesn't? Just don't run another oil man. Yeah, I know it is all just something that was going to happen anyway, and the guy before him is really to blame for the 400 billion dollar war that has stalled the flow of oil from Iraq . I couldn't vote for any of these 3 ... it might be McCain reminds me of RR slurring thru his second term already.

Re: John McCains pastor
Everyone's gonna have their biases from a business standpoint on both sides of the aisle--even independents--so it's up to us to look at the issues that affect us and go from there. I'm sick of trying to decode every little political posturing that comes from any candidate, and I myself plan to focus more on issues as opposed to what they try to get us to look at on a daily basis--things like this which are non-issues in the grand scheme of things.
