Pudge is a ball player

Its a very good deal for the Yankees. They get a catcher, who will probably raise his level of play with the players around him. They get rid of a guy who nobody has that much faith in anyhow.

Too show how much Pudge has declined he was platooning with Brandon Inge who is like a .230 lifetime hitter. He might be a slight upgrade at the plate than Molina, but not much difference defensively.

pudge hasnt been a full time catcher in awhile

farnsworth sucks huge elephant ass and the tigers need an arm now that jones and zumaya are out and the yanks did just pick up marte

but for those of you expecting pudge to be a huge addition to put behind the plate.......i think you can forget it

When you have a catcher with power at the plate, you had better be platooning him...or by the end of the year he won't have any pop left in his bat cuz his legs will be dead.

He does have a good brain for the big time catching job though...
