Honestly...who really expects anything but a flop from Crompton...that is what will hold UT back all season long. Til they yank him.

He's bounced them everytime I've ever seen him in a game...
He played decent as a freshman against LSU.... especially for a freshman.
BTW...if they ever consolidate PV and Appy...they should dress em like UCLA...minus the shoulder stripes.
I always like UCLA's unis. Especially the old style numbers they had.

I've always said the only team to pull of those kind of formations is Florida

Crompton blows.
4 picks and you are only up 14-7. Which the offense only scored 7 of those points.
At least Crompton was looking a little better on that last drive till Arian tackled him. I sure hope he starts playing better though.
In one of our UT PM's I predicted the UT Defense would have 4 picks with one being a pick 6.................just didn't think it would be in the 1st half.
It is painful to watch these 2 offenses go at it.
Eric Berry just laid a lick on #4 for UCLA. He got right back up though.
I'm predicting another pick for a UT TD!! I'm looking for UT to pull away in the 4th.

I agree, but the play selection is not giving them the chance. The Vols should be pounding it on the ground, but the coaches have fallen in love with the pass. O.K. for an experienced QB, but not for Crompton. Fulmer will probably blow this one.

Playing like this I see Tennessee winning 5 games including this one. They will HAVE to get something going on offens or it will be a really long year especially when SEC play rolls around
