Just think of what the Appy score could have been had the clock not been running the entire game.
I felt sorry for Appy...first 3 scores were a punt return td, a 2 int returns, then the offense finally got a chance to go at it and 1 play later another td...
But as everyone stated, Appy didn't quit fighting till the end..
I hate to hear that Appalachia is not doing well.

Coeburn defeated Pound by a lopsided score. Can't remember exactly what the score was, though. Sorry!
Looks like Coeburn may actually give Kelly a great game next Friday, especially after watching Kelly tonight. It would be absolutely hilarious if Coeburn somehow came out with the victory. I must say I'm very impressed with Coeburn thus far, despite their loss to Clintwood early on.

Yeah, Coeburn could never beat Wise unless their banged up.
I expect a good game, before tonight I kinda expected a high scoring game, but if Wise only managed 1 td through 3 Qtrs against Pound then their O must be awful, cause Pound ain't much. So now I'm starting to expect a lower scoring game, but in the end I think Wise should win a close one because I suspect they have the better D.
One plus for Coeburn, Nixon is expected back soon.

The Dawgs have had their success. I would hope everybody in the LPD would get to experience that. Good luck to the Wave this year.
In a year or so, Appy will have some seasoned players and will be pretty tough...so walk on em while ya can.

Wow, I figured St. Paul would pick it up a bit but if they barely snuck by Ervinton, that doesn't shape up well for them.
Only once, and it was a really long time ago and only because they played somebody ineligble.
I had St. Paul up 12-8 at the half, which is why I didn't make that the final.
SP was without their starting QB tonight and had 2 td's called back. they started 7 freshman tonight, including the QB.
...but they played Ervinton.
That explains a few things, at least. What happened to Phillips? Do you have any updates? If he's out for the remainder of the season, they're royally screwed. I doubt that's the case, though.
He's supposed to be back next week, had a severe neck strain, it looked like a scary injury, but he appears to be ok. His replacement went 9-10 last night and threw the game winning TD
