Weis got hit on the sidelines in the first half and leg got caught underneath him, just said he tore his ACL and MCL.


Meanwhile start of the 3rd 28-17 ND

Guess ND will be #2 in the nation next week huh? Got one gave to them last week.

Nope, but they have improved tremendously since that embarrassment season last year. And what game were you watching last week, because i dont know what youre talking about.

The ball crossed the goal line before it was fumbled. Before ND's last touchdown, Claussen was forced out of bounds and then offsides was called after the play. But hey, there Notre Dame, and they play by different rules than anyone else. Guess they deserve it, all their players have 4.0's and are in bed by 9:00.

I am so glad for a win but I just watched the highlights. Michigan gave them that game with turnovers. Other than the bomb Clausen did not play that well. They still have a long way to go but I believe they are the right track.
To put up that many points against a good defense is great but they still have some work.

I am very proud of the Irish . . I was expecting to come home only to see that Michigan had clobbered them!

I watched the whole game and Clausen had a pretty dang decent game. Mich defense isnt nowheres near past years, but both teams arent that good. But the Irish have and are improving greatly, should be fun to watch them this season unlike the last one.

Haven't even watched them enough to get a good picture of how he performs. I know one thing's for sure: To be the #1 ranked QB in the country at one time, he was MASSIVELY overhyped when I did watch him.

How did he perform vs. Michigan, and what made him seem terrible from what you saw in that game? I really wish I could actually watch some of these games, but I don't get home until 7:30-8 PM usually so I miss most of 'em.

Trust me, it does.

Sounds like Phil Robbins at Richlands in 1988...got both ligaments in his knee torn and the knobs broken off his thigh bone at the knee as well in the 2nd Quarter after he was undercut trying to slow up a Richlands defender going out of bounds. Ol Phil stayed on the sideline with an air cast/splint on his knee...hobbled to the field house at halftime, and hobbled back to the field for the 2nd half. They took him straight to Hulvey and Gardner in Abingdon after the game..and Barry Jones rode back with the players. The rest of the season Phil spent practice and games in a wheelchair. Like him or not, he's a tough SOB.
