New Thread on Rules

I'm going to start this thread giving game situations and having you put yourself in the officials position. Hopefully it will help out in expanding everyones knowledge of the rules. Maybe the next time you see something crazy happen in a game you will know if the call was right or not.

First situation.
Team A has just scored and is attempting an extra point. When the ball is snapped the holder remains on the ground and pitches the ball backwards to the kicker coming around on a sweep. The kicker then rolls out completing the pass to an eligable receiver in the endzone. Assuming their were no ineligables down field, or flags on the play what do you have?

You make the call, is the 2 point conversion successfull?
If yes why?
If no why?

WTH? Kicker rolls around on a sweep? Does he pitch the ball forward, is the kicker moving towards the line at the snap? I've never seen or heard of anything like this.

No theres no movement before the snap. After the snap the holder gets the ball then the kicker rolls around behind the holder were he then pitches the ball to the kicker. The pitch is backwards.

What level of play is this?

This is HS.

It's obviously legal in the NFL. You have to be touched to be down.

Nope the holder threw the ball in that one. My situation has the holder pitching the ball to the kicker and the kicker throwing it.

Well the last one then and Colt David throws it instead of running it in.

Yea the LSU play is the situation im talking about.

Two point conversion is good, if the kicker didn't cross the line of scrimmage. According to what I heard on TV...lol

This play in HS is illegal due to the hoders knee remaining on the ground. He would have to have the knee off the ground to make the pitch.

If ya notice, holders from some area teams don't put a knee on the ground.
