The subject asks it all. There is no way that Norton will come close to Clintwood or GC. Describe the game plan. How will the game plan work? We are not talking about Rye Cove, St.Paul, East Dryden, or Esserville North. The smack talkers will be real quiet in 2 weeks. Or, they will ha a lot of excuses; Injuries or bad calls or both.
We'll see there Dr.Lou!! Because you haven't faced two good rb on the field at one time. If one don't getcha, the other one will.

I dont think it will be a problem to catch them for there speed to work the blocking has to be awesome. From what i have read not seen in person is that Norton has speed, but not strength so i really think the strength does trump speed in most cases

I'd say that they will have some success moving the ball against Clintwood. It won't be by the jet sweep though. That play has never gotten anything against Clintwood. If they can establish Miles up the middle they can have some success.
If I were them, I'd be worrying about stopping Clintwood. They've given up TONS of yardage to just about everyone they've played. Could end up being a shootout, but I'd doubt it.
I'd like to hear about Clintwood shutting some people up on here. But Clintwood better not be worrying about shutting up some Burton fans yet. They need to worry about JJ Kelly this week. Burton needs to worry about whoever they play this week.
Coleman and Miles had a combination of over 400 yards last night!!! That was in only 20 carries. Imagine if they carried the ball 20-30 times a piece. Burton played JJ Kelly and they have only lost that game. We will see in 2 weeks.

Well IMHO Lee, Helburt and Cobb (Lebanon) and the collectave backfield of GC last night IMHO blow that out of the water
Norton has the potental to score anytime that they touch the football and that alone will make them VERY dangerus they have another giveme game next week while Clintwood has A 6-1 Wise team that gave Norton there best game this season (before last night 14-7 at the half what happened there?)
Clintwood MUST get over the GC game and give Kelly there full attention if they want bounce back from the loss

Where this is true so that means that burton has only played a decent team one time this year?
Its more likely that not that we will be privilaged to see 2 Burton/Clintwood games this season.
With trash talking begining 2 weeks before the first matchup, I can't imagine what it will be like for the Region D championship.

Well said man i like your honesty, but i think CW and Burton will be an awesome game.
As do I, I may have to come to Clintwood early that day to get a seat, should be packed. If we don't get over our 1st quarter woes then Clintwood could jump out early and that would be scary.

True, but it might turn out like USC and Oregon ST. Don't think USC ever did find that back. That is why they play them, hope to make it to CW that evening.
I dont think that JJK will put much of a fight against Clintwood next wweek, so IMO thats a gimme game also. But really Norton has to do something before then, Cup and Miles can only do so much.

Wow a 6-1 LPD team that is freash of a win over PV is a gimme game.......IMHO I think Clintwood IS the better team and should win the matchup but from what I have seen Kelly is a Damn good team that if given the chance are more than capable of beating anyone on there schedule.
Heck B.I. even says this is the best line he has ever coached and the best one in the LPD Wise will be comeing in sky high after there big win over the Vikes. This one could be alot closer than some think especaly if Clintwood has a hangover from the GC game or start looking ahead to Burton

Until u strap on the pads R13 you just need to quit posting on football topics! You don't have a damn clue.
Kelly was 5-1 last year, ended up 5-5. They should at worst end up with 7 wins this year. You don't normally have teams that go from winless to state champions in a year, it takes time to build a program up. Kelly is a threat and they are playing with confidence, early in the year, they didn't know that they were a decent team, now they are believing in themselves and that makes a lot of difference.
burton can talk smack because they are good.
i think you guys are forgetting that.
CW better not overlook them, or underestimate them.
GC is as good as either JIB or CW...proved that last night. People over look them, but they only lost 1 game.
