The nfc east is overrated!!!!

With the mighty boys about to go down and the skins loosing again, the east is way overrated!

I think you might have a point there. The cowboys are gonna have to realize that they actually have to play in order to win. They arent going to get into the playoffs just because they are supposed to. But they may be able to pull this one out.

Second half of the season your titans will start to show how good they really are and thats all i'll say on that.


Cowboys O line just played like [censored] today and ARZ took advantage of it and beat them. If Dallas would play to their full potential there wouldnt be a team that could touch them, but thats not been the case so far. Theyve been beating the hell out of themselves and this is what they get. But they'll be fine. And I predict a upset tmo night for those giants.

Titans have played four out of five games against those same AFC teams that he says are better than the NFC. Most people tend to say the Titans appear so good because they haven't played anybody....

Tennessee is good but I don't think their the best team in the NFL! I said before I thought the best team in the NFL is the Gaints until proven other wise! I just think the AFC top to bottom is the better conference!

The way the Colts beat the Ravens today every team in the NFL best watch out! They seem to be back on track!!!

They're in the top 3 in the AFC (the Titans) with Kerry Collins at QB. But, the team I'd not want to play from the AFC is the Jets...I might be wrong, but they just might be this year's Giants..

Maybe but the only thing I know about Tennessee is their D will keep them in most games knock on wood....

I think R13 has an issue here. Let's make something clear that you seem to struggle with. IF Dallas plays to their best nobody can touch them, you get that where? A QB who has never won a big game? A running back who until this year was a part-timer player, who may be great or may wear down. Oh a great receiver who has shown an ability to self destruct not only himself but teams. Maybe a great player who has more arrests than touchdowns, and has what, 1-2 career interceptions?

I'm not saying that Dallas isn't good or doesn't have the potential to be good, but guess what, the Patriots were good and someone touched them last year. The Yankees made a habit of having the an ungodly amount of all-start players and big game and big name players, and won a lot less than they did when they had the hungry team.

Simply put, nobody knows what the Cowboys will do. They could go on a roll and win every game the rest of the year, they could struggle and go .500. This is the NFL, they don't win by name, they win by execution and coaching, and their coach hasn't shown his greatness either. You have fallen for the hype, not to say the hype won't end up being justified, but in case you haven't noticed, they love to annoint Dallas a bit more than they should sometimes.

Romo still is one of the best QB's in the game, its his 3rd year. TO is still one of the best receivers in the game, That part time pro-bowler lead the team in all rushing categories - 204 carries for 975 yards and 10 touchdowns despite not starting a game during the '07 season..and that trouble-maker is 3rd on the team with 22 solo tackles. This isnt even talking about the other 10 probowlers on the team.

So tell me what I was struggling with? Did I say that they were going to win from now on? No. I said they have the talent to beat any team in the NFL, they do simple fact. Have they been playing to their potential? No. They are capable of not losing another game, but as seen they are capable of getting beat and will continue to if they keep this play up.

the ten pro bowlers mean nothing.

No the problem in Dallas is coaching. Brian Stewart, Jason Garrett, and Wade Phillips should all have their jobs on the hotseat. Jerruh should be beating down the door of a Bill Cowher or a coach in that style. This team doesn't need a friend, they need a disciplined leader.

Also I think that the lack of a number two reciever is hurting Dallas greatly. Schemes are making Owens all but disappear and even making Witten less effective because nobody is afraid of Crayton/Ausitn/Hurd. Doesn't matter if it takes a number one pick, the 'Boys need to go get Roy outta Detroit. He's said before he grew up a Dallas fan anyway....

But...on the plus side I do think that Demarcus Ware can definitely be considered as the best defensive player in the game right now.

I agree with you on that when they announced Wade Phillips as the head coach to replace Parcells i couldnt believe it he hasnt been able to do anything as a head coach for any team he has had. Would have been much better off with a different coach and TO doesnt need to complain about not getting the ball either and let the play calling work the way it should.

Didn't all the Dalls fans love Phillips last year? Any team would be smart to be knockin down the door of Cowher IMO. Thats the type of coach that you see succeed in the NFL. I was shocked at that, can't beleive that Aikman didn't have more than that.

I didnt like him last year i think alot of the fans did though. I was truly disapointed when they named him as head coach then i think it was a week or so later the chargers let Marty go i would have probably fired wade right then and went after Marty and hired wade back as DC if he would have came back that is lol

I don't like Phillips, but I don't think it is all his fault either. Jerruh is known to meddle with the team, and Jason Garrett's offense has zero identity and sometimes it looks like he is selecting his plays out of a hat. Brian Stewart's defense is...it sucks and they have the personnel to be among the best.

Now I dont remember exactly who was saying it last year so I aint gon call anybody out BUT Jason Garrett was worshipped by all last year and everybody wanted him to be HC of the Dallas Cowboys.

It definitely wasn't me. He has looked good at times, and I may as well start liking him because he is gonna be the next HC for Dallas.

Very true it seemed like he did a better job last year, but really there two choices for coach was phillips, which has never been a good HC, and Garrett which had very little coaching experience and was handed the OC job, and pretty much told would be the HC after phillips. I dont have a clue what they were thinking in that move.

Given that Ol Wade has never won a playoff game, I'd have took my chances with Joe Blow, or Joe $hit the Rag Man before I hired Wade Phillips. Wish he'd be HC at Denver again.

I would have been much happier to see Wade in Washington.

He's adequate. I like his blitz packagages sometimes, hate his coverage schemes.

Wade can do pretty well with great players....but they still don't reach their potential under him.
