World Series Game One

Greatest game in the world as the only major sporting event on tv tonight. Couldn't get any better.

How in the world do you let the Backstreet Boys sing the National Anthem, this might be worse than Prince doing the halftime show at the SuperBowl.

Agreed on the nobody will watch, which is why they need to forget this gimmicky stuff. Leave baseball alone, those who like it love it the rest of the world can forget it. Should have sent Lee Greenwood or somebody like that out there.

Baseball is what it is, I wish people would stop trying to change it. Theres a reason why I don't watch the NBA please don't incorporate that into baseball.

great game last night. i like the way you think pvfan. baseball is it's own sport. never to be commercialized or "doctored" with. the game has sustained many problems or black eyes throughout time. i hated the backstreet boys and their 10 minute national anthem. useless.

I agree with you guys about baseball. I'd rather watch it than anything else. Unfortunately, I can't quite get myself into this series. I either need a ruiting interest in a team or someone to hate so bad I want them to lose. I'm neutral about both teams. I'm sure I'll catch pieces of these games as they go. The thought of the World Series being played in Tampa, one of the dumpiest ballparks I have ever been to, is insane.
