NBA is terrible, at least old white people watch MLB nobody watches the NBA. It's not been relevant since MJ left Chicago.
MLB is the most boring thing I have ever seen, I put it up there with golf. I have to flip around even when the Yanks are on.

That was the last time I watched an entire game. Since the last game of the 98 Finals, I've only been able to watch a quarter or less.
To each his own. To me there is nothing better than a hot dog on a summer day in Cincinnati watching the Reds win.

I used to share your view PVFan. I'll still take that dog and ball game in Cincy any day of the week. But I must admit, since last year's playoffs, I have been a little more into the NBA than I have in years. I've enjoyed watching my Lakers play over the last little bit and have even caught myself watching random NBA games of late.
You've given up on our crew haven't you? I may be blinded but I really feel like they are only 2-3 players away. They just have to have Bruce, Votto, Volquez, and Cueto develop like they are capable of and score with some of the recent draft picks. It does irrate me they won't spend any more money, they could contend for the playoffs next year if they'd sign about 4 players. All they really need is two arms in the pen and two of the following: CF/Catcher/SS. I'd play subpar at SS and play Keppinger there myself but we'll see what they do.

players like chris bosh, tim duncan, al jefferson, andre igoudala, brandon roy, manu, oj mayo, baron davis, allen iverson, kg make the nba worth my while
Yup. You just have to pick a somewhat good team or game to watch. Teams like the Warriors - well not so much now, Suns, Utah -( at home), Cavs, Hornets etc...are usually exciting to watch. Esp when Baron Davis was at Golden State, I loved watching them and Utah at home because the fans were so loud and reminded me of a NCAA game.
It's not what it used to be, but with the Lakers/Celts back it has potential. I love watching the NBA, games can be exciting for most part.
