Mosby's

Every time I eat there I realize just how bad their food is. The presentation is horrible and the food is boring and bland.

Their only redeeming quality is the cooch factor of the waitresses.

I always enjoy the crab stuffed chicken and about 6 Miller Lite drafts. I also like their Salmon. Of course when you have 6 beers in you anything taste good.

Most restaurants you would be lucky to get in one beer, if not two before your meal gets there. At Mosby's you can enjoy a 6 pack because it takes so long. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

I have never liked that place.. the only reason I would make the stop is because nobody else serves a French Dip sandwich around here. But, I had to stop going after the "booth accident"... they didn't kick me out, I just stopped going on my own haha.. when you can't walk in a bar, just remember that the booths at Mosby's aren't anchored down, and are top heavy..

it takes FOREVER to get the food, but i cant complain about the steak

Their beer battered chicken & shrimp ain't bad at all either. I've gotten it the past 2-3 times I've been up there. Good stuff.

That place could be great. I'd love to have full reign over the menu/enviorment. It could work.

The only thing I like up there is their salad bar. Everything else just sucks or is decent.

Yep. Food doesn't have to be boring and bland.

Everytime I say something sucks (as far as food is concerned), I think back to my grandfather who served during Korea. He told my grandmother after they married, that he would never complain of food again after he got back from Korea. Until the day he died, whether the food was hot or cold, he never once complained. He thought it was the best meal he had ever eaten compared to what he went through overseas.

I find myself wanting to be more like him in that sense and not complain, as I should be thankful that I have any kind of warm food to eat. But, it is so dang difficult to do so when you don't get very good service or food at some restaurants these days.

For Mosby's prices, the food should be a lot better. Their steaks are good, but that is about it. Even then, Bonanza and Applebee's beat them on presentation.

I love a good restaurant.

Bonanza is plumb nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bonanza in Wise is not that great but the one in Lebanon is really good. They've remodeled it and have decent help in there now.

Bonanza has a great salad Bar,

I prefer the Bonanza salad bar. They do have good monterey chicken too.

I like the trout at Mosby's. And the atmosphere there.
