Girl said she swerved to miss a dog and ended up rolling the car about 100'. Result was the trashed car and a severely damaged front yard for me. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img]
Wish I had been there. Im sure that will go over real well with her insurance company.

They'll pay it though. I've seen a whole lot dumber. Hope she has a low deductible.
They will pay it, but it will probably go up, whereas if she just hit the dog, it would not go up under comprehensive.
So many carriers have "accident forgiveness" now it's hard to tell if it will or not. I've filed more than I can count that the carrier just paid no questions no increases.
Now if she already has a high loss ratio, that's a different story.
Unfortunately for the small animals on the road, there's less destruction if you just don't swerve.

broke her collarbone in two places, fractured wrist, 12 stitches on the forehead..not bad
I've heard that a collar-bone break is one of the most painful...I couldn't imagine breaking it in 2 places.
I hit a deer on Thanksgiving and I still don't have my truck back, but I do have a free rental car(even though its a dodge magnum). All that at no expense for me...
She should have hit it. It's hard to do, but it is usually best.

Beware the landmines in the yard.
Not saying I condone hitting animals but if I had to choose between hitting one or having broken bones or worse, I'm choosing hitting the animal. Or at least not swerving.

I almost hit one Sunday night. It was just standing in the passing lane waiting to be hit. Deer vs. Trailblazer? No doubt who would win that fight. I had visions of blood, guts and broken glass the rest of the night.

The deer almost always wins, or at least causes enough damage that it wouldn't matter what maneuver you choose.
Her name wouldn't have been Holly would it?..lol...that chick backed over a bank leavin my driveway when i lived in Coeburn...and the bank wasn't even behind her when she parked..lol
What vehicle, bank, obstacle didn't she hit though? She peppered us pretty good with mud and gravel too.
lol..with no head lights on...BTW, I had a blast last night...woke up this mornin and she was still there...kinda reminds me of someone's actions..ain't sayin who..haha
Don't know that chick didn't go to jail, or end up w/ her truck stickin outta somebody's house like someone else at our place.
