Good win against a very good team. Sucks that you are the number one seed though, if I'm thinking correctly they don't usually do so hot.

I don't think so either. Their running game definitely looks back on track, and their defense is more than adequate but losing Plax is a huge loss. I really don't know who I like in the NFC anymore, just not the Giants.
I'm going out on a limb here and saying the Falcons will rep.the NFC this year in the SB

Sucks that they will be in the playoffs when the bucs, bears, eagles, cowboys or any of the others that are fighting to get in might not make it. Hard to believe they were 7-3 at one point huh?

Are you kidding? With the way they have been playing, they are lucky to make it to the NFC Championship game. Meet up with Carolina or Dallas, they'll get sent home packing.

they ran for over 300 yards against carolina
With a win they are in.
Eagles and Boys beat them in the games before that, they won't be in the SB.

i wasnt a believer in week 8, but by week 16, im sold
carolina is the second best team in the nfl, and nyg had 300 yds rushing
the only team that will challenge nyg is carolina again, and it was so close the last time i dont thik you can say the giants are that much a favorite
i dont see any nfc team beating nyg or carolina
the game was close on the scoreboard and nothing else
giants dominated the LOS on offense and despite having little pass rush to speak of........didnt allow carolina to do much in the passing game outside of the missed INT on the 60 yarder to mushin

the panthers couldnt stop the run, but the giants couldnt stop the pass
tuck had the flu, and that killed their pass rush
the giants only weakness may be the deep ball, they can take care of one big time WR, but if a team like arizona gets in the groove throwing the ball with two big time WRs, the giants may have some trouble
kenny phillips is gonna be a pro bowler tho, aaron ross is another good young talent in the secondary as well
the giants are set up to win for a long time, their O line is one of the nfls best, when they get osi back their D line is gonna be a monster line, antonio is a top tier LB, they just need a lockdown corner and a playmaking WR, then they are unbeatable
do you not remember what they did to the cards earlier this season?
with a healthy tuck and healthy fred robbins their DL is still pretty damn good.......just ask kurt warner

well i jus used arizona as an example, they will lose the first round of the playoffs
the two teams are so similiar in their ability to pound the rock with two good backs, but right now, i think carolina has a better offense passing wise, while NYG has the better D all around
the panthers d line used to be very intimidating, now its extremely weak aside from peppers
but beason is the next great UM pro, he will be all pro in two years

But in the playoffs last year they finally found their formula to win and so far this year has worked. I look for them to be in the super bowl again this year.

hes the second most overrated T in the league, behind jason peters in buffalo
i was pissed they paid him as much as they did......i figured it would be another typical giants contract that they were so well known for ......overpaid guys who do nothing.......thankfully it hasnt been the case
but at the same time i was happy for him because i used to work with him when i was 16 and i knew he was a giants fan growing up........so in that regard i was happy for him
im just glad he hasnt sucked balls with the giants the way he did with the jets
