I'd love to do the Huntington thing, but it's hard for me to get off work now. Huntington shows are always awesome. I've seen them there more than anywhere else, probably 10 times there.
i've heard they always out on a good show at 930, is is true!?

I've seen them at 9:30 twice and both times were great. It's basically their home.

two of the openers blew goats, viking skull kicked ass though, got to meet jess margera who plays drums for them, so that was pretty sweet...

the setlist to me would have been much better with bn1 or 2, basket of eggs....or binge and purge..haha, but we know b and p isnt gonna happen..
i was front row last night again, was hollering for him to play binge and purge, after about the third time i said this, he looks at me and says "i dont know what to say to that" took a long pause, then says "but i guess sometimes the most silent moments, are the most precious"...laughed my ass off hearing that from him.
plus, dont know if you knew this or not, but tim messed his ankle up a few nights ago, comes out there on crutches and sits on his amp and plays the whole show.
Some dude screams out neil you suck, "really......reallly....how about this" and breaks into soapmakers.
Ill definitely be going to see them next time they play there

Probably the next Huntington/Asheville/Relatively close place that's on a Friday or Saturday.
Things are a lot different at shows now than when I first saw them almost 11 years ago. It was more actual fans and not frat boys and drunk whores who heard them on Viva La Bam and scream for "Jesus On The Dance Floor". They tended to have better openers back then too, Drown, 60 Watt Shaman, Shine, Clearlight.

one dude was talkin about how he has been a fan since their first album, when he was getting a tattoo he heard the song "marcus is a samurai" and has been a fan ever since..haha
It takes all kinds. Some of the stuff that you hear people saying maybe be early names for songs. Who Wants To Rock? was first called Bob Daisley then changed to Picking Daisley's. The Yeti was called Woodfoot. I think it was Sink Em' Low that was first called Big Stone (which is funny if you know that Tim's dad is from Norton). 9 times out of 10 what you hear is just some dumbass who doesn't know what they're talking about.
There are songs that I heard 10 years ago like High Priest that were never recorded that I know every word to and would love to hear finally recorded. I asked Neil about that song a couple of years ago and he was like "I'd forgotten all about that one. That was a good one.".
They've got another show in Huntington on Feb 11th. Then they play in Louisville on the 12th.
Yep. WV is on a Wednesday so that won't work and Louisville is too far for me now.
